A little BTS… because the final shot is only part of the story! I love being on set, in amongst it all, doing whatever needs to be done to make every shot the best it can be. So many little details, so many talented creatives & so much effort from everyone involved. I absolutely loved creating with this team!

“The only thing I can take credit for is selecting our amazing team of vendors. We literally had the best!!! They turned a windy, rainy day into a dream!”

One month later & looking through these images still gives me the same buzz as the day we created them 🤍 It really was one of those days I would happily do all over again.

I had the absolute privilege of leading the fashion styling for this shoot, getting both our bride & groom kitted out & developing the moodboard alongside the most incredible group of vendors & creatives. Then to watch all of those ideas, conversations & little details come together in the most beautiful, romantic setting that genuinely felt worlds away was pretty special. Our bride & groom, both artists in their own right, brought so much personality to the day & were an absolute vibe to work with.

There is something about being on set with a group of wildly talented people, all bringing their own creativity to one shared vision, that I absolutely love. Watching something that started as an idea on a moodboard become this?! The energy, the adrenaline, the laughs, the running around making sure every little detail is just right… it’s a dopamine hit like no other & I love it!

I walked away from this shoot knowing I want more of this. More creating, more collaborating, more beautiful weddings & more opportunities to bring a vision to life through styling. I’m so excited to grow this side of Styled By Shellie… but first, these photos have waited a month for their moment here, so swipe through & enjoy!

The sneak peek of pics that is everything @nicolebutlerphotography you are a superwoman 😍😍 It wasn’t the day we planned but it is the day we will dream about forever ✨ they only thing I can take credit for is selecting our amazing Team/vendors. We literally had the best!!! They turned a windy, rainy day into a dream. And of course our people, Ella and Chad who stood next to us and kept us calm leading up to and on the day and our amazing friends and family who helped us party the night away … margs, dancing, lots of laughs and so much love, we are truly blessed 😍 so much thanks needs to be given to the the people who went above and beyond leading up too, we adore you. Now my husband and I get to drink cocktails on the beach and call each other husband and wife ☺️

Recently Ev and I had two galas to attend, and while I was a little more prepared for one of them… the second one definitely crept up on me 😂

So I wanted to give a little shout-out to some of my beautiful friends who came to my rescue and helped me pull myself together and feel amazing for the night.

There’s something pretty special about having women around you who will squeeze you in, help you get organised and make you feel beautiful when you're running around trying to juggle a million other things.
And these ladies absolutely nailed it ✨

If you have a wedding, gala, special event or even just a night where you want to feel a little extra special — whether you're a Hunter Valley local or visiting our beautiful region — I couldn't recommend checking these ladies out enough.

Not only are they incredibly talented at what they do, they're beautiful humans too. 🤍

So grateful for my little village and for women supporting women.

Thank you ladies for coming to my rescue and making me feel beautiful. You are absolutely amazing! 🤍

Ash & Jake an afternoon wrapped into a few seconds. What a high energy, stunning day at leaves & fished in the Hunter valley. One of the most beautiful and unique spots in the valley. Always love being back!

Swipe for proof your wedding can feel editorial without ever feeling staged.

Ashleigh & Jake at @leavesandfishes, black tie, old-world lace, deep red orchids, champagne coupes and two incredible bridal looks.

Every detail was considered, but nothing felt stiff. Just effortless chemistry, plenty of laughter and that perfect balance of refined and fun.

Save this one for your Hunter Valley wedding mood board. 🍸
