A love letter to the mountain.⛰️💜🔊

When I joined the Mountain Wubz team, I knew I was being given the amazing opportunity to manage social media for a really special little festival on top of a mountain in West Virginia.

What I didn’t know was how deeply I would fall in wub with it.

With the mountain. With this team. With this community. With every weird, wonderful, bass-loving human who believed in what we were building alongside us.🥹

I spend so much of my life at music festivals, and somehow one of the smallest festivals I’ve ever been to has left one of the biggest marks on me.

For months, I told the story of Mountain Wubz through a screen. Then I finally got to stand on that mountain and actually SEE it.

Looking out into that crowd and seeing all of you dancing, creating, connecting, supporting each other and pouring SO. MUCH. LOVE. into this little festival…

holy shit. We actually did this. 🥹

WE BUILT THIS TOGETHER.

Every team member, artist, vendor, creator, photographer, volunteer, promoter, staff member AND every Wubber who bought a ticket, shared a post, told a friend, danced in that crowd or simply trusted us with your weekend…

YOU are Mountain Wubz.💜

Festivals like this matter. Community like this matters. There is a magic that happens when everyone feels like they’re part of something instead of simply attending it.

You can’t manufacture that.
You can’t buy it.
You can only build it together.✨

To the team: TYSM for trusting me with something this special. Getting to use what I love doing to help something I genuinely believe in grow means more to me than I can explain.💜

And to everyone who hugged me, danced with me, let me shove a camera in your face, told me you loved the content or shared how much this festival meant to you… you made the person behind the phone feel incredibly loved too. 🥹💜

thank you everyone for the most magical care free weekend. i didn’t meet a single person who was anything short of plur. the vibes of this festival were so incredibly magical and i cannot wait to return to the mountain next year. thank you so much @collectivefestivalmgmt for this experience. meeting all of the other wonderful team members was so special in itself. until next time ✨

Lightning in a Bottle Part 3 ⚡️

1. MY MAMA KNIT THIS SET!! 👏💜 (and once again adorable garters made by @dollslayer )

2. Day 3 felt like the ultimate lineup for 2015 Bella, Tinashe and Empire of the Sun playing songs I’ve had on repeat foreverrr

3. Slide 12 = the moon looking gorgeous as usual next to the main stage

4. Slide 15 = one of culprits of the holes we all twisted our ankles in no less than 10 times

5. Slide 16 = our campsite at the corner of Ironbark and plastic water bottle street

6. Slides 17 & 18 = Shelby’s nebulous list that occurred over a few hours but definitely after 1am
