The production of PHISH TALES: STRANGE AXIS lasted five months and nearly killed me a few times. While it was the most fun and rewarding experience yet, it was exhausting like never before and I’m very happy it’s complete. I’m 4 for 4!

While relaxing, I’ve edited all the behind-the-scenes footage into an hour-plus feature I’ll be releasing Friday. Here are just some of the many joyful, exciting and unforgettable moments on set.

PHISH TALES: STRANGE AXIS has been out for a week now (on the DanielVerse YouTube channel!) and the reception has been wonderful. I love hearing what everyone thinks of all my hard work. And my cast looks incredible, as I always strive to achieve. It’s the directors job to make everyone look good and I’m glad I go the extra mile. Here’s collages made from extra character poster photos.

PHISH TALES: STRANGE AXIS comes out in just one week and it’ll blow you away. If you haven’t seen Phish Tales: Axis Run (linked below), watch it first so you get a good sense of who everybody is and the general story. So, with old mixed with new, here’s the entire cast for their character posters. And everyone looks incredible, just as I hoped. 🎥 🔥

Had a long two weeks-TWO MORE weekends of back-to-back PHISH TALES: STRANGE AXIS (out February 27th!) filming blocks. Plus editing around the clock and it’s seriously been the greatest shit ever. Last weekend, we had the incredibly talented Nicolas Antonucci step into the role of Dr. Floyd Ventris. He was truly a class act and beyond wonderful to work with-every second of his performance still wows me!

Then, this past weekend, more Aleena and a pal from the set of Not There, Bryan Rife, joined the DanielVerse as team member Partigaz. Truly an amazing time and the results are impressive. Many things changed and got adjusted, even before the snow, but we made the most of it and sometimes (or always), your best is good enough and then some. Take a look at the madness.

PHISH TALES: STRANGE AXIS is coming along swimmingly and I’m loving the results thus far. I’ve been my own second unit, as usual, grabbing lots of scene, snippets and bits needed and easier to get now instead of when I’m getting the biggest scenes. Got some trippy imagery, body double seamlessness, VFX plates and even a dog, which is for down the line. And this past Sunday I reunited with my Whisperer Episode 2 co-star and we knocked out a kick-ass opening scene, on top of additional bits for throughout the story. At the end of my best year ever, I’m still going strong and keeping at my craft, best I can. 🎥

Thank you, Colonel Crawford, football for the best 8 years of my life. I want to thank everyone who has supported me through my football career. Lastly, thank you to all of my brothers who have stepped beside me on the field. #21 out.
