Last week I was photographing the Commonwealth Games.

It was easily the hardest work I’ve ever done. Long days, late nights, and a whole lot of learning. There were seven of us behind all the content, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better team. I couldn’t have done any of it without them @timmarshall.nz @alexspencenz @hannahswiift @dom.thomas @michaeldawson.nz @buzzygramguy

Since I got home, every time someone has asked me how the Games went, I get emotional.

Two years ago I was sitting behind a desk wondering if I was meant to be doing something else. I never would’ve believed this could be my life. Maybe that’s why it gets me every time someone asks?

I don’t say this very often… but I think I’m just really proud. What a privilege it is to be a part of the @thenzteam 🖤🌿

Candidly, I don’t like speaking publicly as much about mental health in the way I once did. That chapter of my life feels very far behind me now and I’m happy to leave it there.

But even so, I know the legacy I want to leave behind whether it be work or sport is more than just the wins or the flashy stuff. It will always involve using my voice and my experiences to help other people feel less alone or find the support they need.

This year I’m proud to be racing New York City as an ambassador for @highimpactathletes

A big part of why I said yes is because they’ve created something that gives sport a deeper sense of purpose, allowing athletes to race not just for themselves, but for causes that genuinely matter to them.

There was a time in my life where I genuinely didn’t think I would make it to where I am now. So being able to race, build companies, travel, compete and use those opportunities to contribute to something bigger than myself is something I’ll never take for granted.

Very grateful to be part of this team and excited to show you more about the amazing work this organization does over the coming months ❤️

If you’re looking for a reason to get racing, race for someone else.

2025 was full of risk, uncertainty, and choosing to move forward anyway. I built a home on the other side of the world, worked with amazing clients who trusted me with their projects, and had a support system that kept me humble (you know who you are). As usual, I have no clue what’s next, but I’m ready for 2026.

The last few months have been a blur but in the best possible way. Here’s to more of the same 🫡

Today I learnt that it was my 100th international match for New Zealand.

I guess when moments like these come around it’s hard not to reflect.

I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to do what I do, travel the world, attend pinnacle sporting events, represent my country, but most of all… work with incredible and inspiring men and women every day.

What a ride! Working on the EWC Spotlight show with this fabulous gang of pros in the scorching Riyadh summer (hello 47+ degrees!) has been nothing short of epic. The content department at IMG has been a blast, and we’ve crafted some seriously cool VTs that I’m super proud of. Can we do it again, please?

Massive shout-out to the legend @christian_pickwoad , our lead producer, who’s basically the creative genius I never knew I needed, and to @josegarnes , the calmest captain in the heat of the storm, who kept us all sane and smiling.

To the live studio crew, you guys were the real MVPs no stress, all laughs! And of course, the content team and highlights team, including the amazing @flynnhamilton , you made every moment a highlight. That said, I’ve now downed tools, so please, no more links!

To all the PM, runners, APs, producers, presenters, editors, and technical teams — hold your heads high. What we’ve achieved together is nothing short of sublime content. And last but by no means least @rosstjenkins our live producer, you’ve always looked out for me and from the bottom of my heart, thank you! I’ll be raising a glass in your honours as soon as I’m out of Saudi airspace! All the best, guys, and I hope to see you all again soon. 🍻 big thanks to 📸 @shuttrskunk thank you for the naps and the constant legendary behaviour! 👊

I spent the last 68 days living and working on another continent.
It was a challenging job, and I was able to meet and collaborate with incredible and talented people from various countries and cultures.
I'm taking away new friends and new inspiration from this challenge that I won't forget.

But above all, I had a lot of fun and have countless memories.
