POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Twenty-five years on. As a young artist in my mid-20s living in NYC in 2001 after 9/11, I produced two stories. One was an expression of the relationship between fashion and the city’s structures. In a way, this was one of two love letters I expressed to my home at the time through my craft as a young photographer. Everyone was shooting American flags draped over models and highly polished editorials, but I wanted to show a marriage of the object becoming one with the backgrounds through pattern, structure and light, with strong, almost architectural posing, to be as one with this city I loved so dearly. A city of its own character — a city that embraced artists and anyone willing to give it their all.
Here are a few of the published images from back then, along with some unseen ones, outtakes, and Photo Booth pictures of amazing friends and fellow artists who always helped me.
