I had the most wonderful birthday with all my clowns!

I think moving forward I will be annoying n will have themed parties because that was awesome!

Thank you to all my clients, extended friends, friends of friends, and obviously my Colfax family for celebrating n clowning down with me. Love you weirdos so much!

Denver tattoo artist Domejuice wears a balaclava while he works. For him, it’s a small act of resistance against social media and facial tracking, and a way to see how people react.

Filmed as an assignment during the NPPA Advanced Storytelling Workshop in Denver.

Been wanting this album tattooed since I was 12 years old at my first concert to see MCR. Turns out, MCR was also my tattoo artist @domejuice's first concert too. Serendipity 🤘

Colfax Clowns 🚬🤡

Wanna know what the Lemur clowns are doing before all the circus fun? Smokin cigs and being absolute menaces to society, duh!

Thank you James @ohannieoakley for wrangling some alley clowns for these beautiful photos.

More clown pics to come!

Has you all know, I normally don’t photograph people. Clowns on the other hand… I’ll never pass up the chance!

Thanks again @chia.chai.ink for another fun shoot! I’ll get better at this for sure!

We asked our artists to describe their machine.
@domejuice was not like the others. 🔧

Every tattoo artist has a relationship with their
machine. Some are smooth. Some are quiet. Some are
precise and delicate.

@domejuice runs a coil.

We don’t make the rules.

Book with any of our artists at Lemur Ink — coil
or otherwise. Consultations always free. Link in bio. 🖤

We built something special on Colfax.
Now we’re looking for the right artist to grow with us. 🖤

Lemur Ink isn’t your average tattoo shop. We’re artist-run,
community-focused, and part of something bigger — an oddities
shop downstairs, a monthly sold-out sideshow, and a crew that
genuinely has each other’s backs.

A booth just opened up. And we want to fill it with someone
who gets it.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
→ Established artists with strong existing clientele
→ Serious artistic talent across any style
→ Someone who values culture over corporate
→ An artist ready to be part of a real community

WHAT YOU GET:
🖤 Prime Colfax location in a Victorian building
🦴 Built-in foot traffic from Denver’s Best Oddities Shop
🎪 Part of the Conspiracy Circus family (51 consecutive sellouts)
✨ possible Hybrid rental model
🤝 A crew that actually has your back

This isn’t just a booth. It’s a home base.

Interested? DM us with:
→ Your portfolio
→ Why Lemur Ink specifically
→ Your ideal start date

We’re looking for the right fit — not just any fit. 🖤
