A Day at The Dome - Pt 1. We wanted to work with local businesses and creators, and make wedding planning easier for our followers! So this summer, alongside a bridal designer, a vintage cinema/wedding venue, a vineyard, a photographer, and 5 models, we all spent the day at @domeworthing directing this beautiful wedding shoot. Everyone worked incredibly hard and @tildajeanphoto did some truly amazing work on these photographs. We’ll be dropping more over the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled and if you’re getting married, everyone’s tagged below. Aisha and George’s incredible September wedding in Worthing! 📸✨ From their ceremony at St Andrew’s Church to riding in style on a vintage green bus, every detail was perfection. 🚌 We captured some brilliant moments at the Dome Cinema on Marine Parade—from the auditorium to sharing popcorn in the Atrium—before dashing across to the 1930s pier for seaside portraits. 🍿🎬🌊 Huge congratulations to a fantastic couple, and thank you for letting me document your special day! #wedding #photographer #weddingphotographer #londonwedding #londonweddings . . @g_jimpson @domeworthing

A slightly different type of business today. We have the Dome Cinema! (21-22 Marine Parade) The lovely General Manager reached out to us to say they would absolutely love to welcome breastfeeding Mums to the Dome. They have a baby changing unit, sofas and a comfortable, semi-secluded bar area for privacy if preferred. No requirement to buy anything at all. However, they do have baby friendly screenings (see website for listings). #breastfeedingfriendly #parentsofworthing #baby #supportingparents

Went down for sunrise to clear my head, camera in hand. Ended up staying for hours - watching the fishermen bring in SM444, coffee at Milféy after, and meeting people who reminded me why I love this stretch of coast so much. Reminder to self: make time for yourself, but don’t be surprised when that time ends up being about other people too. Morning light, low tide, good conversations. Can’t ask for more. #worthing #seaside #morningwalk #sussexphotographer #sonyphotogallery

It's not about me. None of it is about me. All of my work is about the people I meet and the places they live. Lots of artists paint with themselves at the centre, lots of poets write about themselves. I don't. Except this time - it kind of is about me. I'm appearing at @tedxworthing, talking about how I bought the @domeworthing for a tenner. It's a story I haven't really told - by the end of it I was broken, bullied, and burnt out and I was more interested in what would come next. So it feels good to be taking back ownership of my story, and a significant thing I did. I'll be talking about the Maybridge estate, the Connaught Theatre holding a door open for Working Class people, about my wonderful mentors Nic and Alex at Rainbow Theatre. But of course it's not really about me - it's about bringing people together, finding ways through, cocreating a more hopeful future. TEDx Worthing is this Monday 5th October, at @wtmworthing's Pavilion Theatre (where I used to work backstage). I'd love to see your face in the front row. In the photos - my old Dome notepaper with logo by Chris Slade, the Youth Tech Crew at the Connaught with Stephen Holroyd (the tape machine in the photo - ex Abbey Road, I gave it to Toe Rag Studios), me at the Dome by @rankinarchive
