SYDNEY #001 - After 9 months of teaching Vedic Meditation I finally held my first course in Sydney.

For the last twelve months I’ve been quietly working on a project called @clearlyfestival our goal is to bring more great live music, arts and wellness to the South Coast of NSW. HOLY SHIT 1 YEAR ON!

We’ve been waiting for this announcement for a long time! Groove Society finally has a body of work and it’s ready to be released. We are giving you the opportunity to hear it before it hits streaming services. It took us forever to find the right venue for this very special occasion and we finally have. On April 29th we will be throwing the most chaotic party you’ve seen from GS yet. Heart & soul and literally everything from the last 2 months is dedicated for this day. There is limited tickets and once they’re gone that’s it so to be fair we will email pre sale tickets to the mailing list (in @groove_society linktree) and to top it all off the first 100 tickets will get a limited edition piece of merch that will never be released again. Let me recap everything. First lot of Groove Society music, New set to be played, the most epic venue you’ve seen, a completely stacked lineup, tonnes of hugs and a terrible hangover the next day.

Keeping the chronological order, I have been looking forward to this share. This caption will probably go into the comments. I’ll do my best to compress it.

In 2018 I booked myself a package for the boutique festival. My heart was beginning to feel better so I thought I would stretch a little further and travel alone to Fiji for the experience and had no idea what would come from the moment. This particular year the afters stage was being activated by my brothers from the @conspiracy.music. @jacksonwintex was kind enough to open his arms, explaining to me that they will all be there, making me feel welcome and safe if I became uncomfortable. The exact opposite of that occurred. You see, what YP offers is so much more than the experience. We are a family. Arriving to the resort, I was allocated my room and met all my roomies. A quick explore led me to find the brothers building up the afters stage. It was nice to see there faces doing what they do, I couldn’t help myself but help. Vonu in one hand, paint brush in the other I remember one of the boys saying “ you don’t have to do this man “ I respond “ I know, but I would like too. I’m chilling beer in hand, we good “. I remember a call for sand to support some post we dug in. I found a wheelbarrow and begun shovelling. As I was wheeling the barrow across the sand i remember looking up and seeing my brothers @ignacio__garcia, @domfurber @daniel_chapman observing me pushing the barrow with a curious look. You see, YP is ran by a board of directors who band together with each of there forces to create a unique and arguably one of a kind experience. I took the barrow over and dumped it.
