31st December 2024 - 1st January 2026… I’m 39. I don’t have it figured out. That’s ok. This year I’ll practise ‘Ma’ I’m still learning about what I love. I’m still learning about what I don’t. It makes me want to be harder, and softer at the same time. It’s confusing. This year I’ll practise more gratitude. Thank you @roadie_international you were right. This year I’ll worry less. Thank you @tomgunvordahl you were right. Thank you to the @symlmusic team. You brought so much laughter to my year. Thank you to the @caamp team for letting me helm the ship through your largest ever headline tour. But more importantly thanks to the crew. An honour to work along side you all. Thanks you to my body for continuing on. My knees. My back. My ankles. All of it. I need you. We’ve got so many more miles to go. Thank you to my family. Thank you to my true friends. Thank you Ruby. Wow I love you so much. Thank you Karey. For your love. Your patience. Your hard side, and your soft side. I love you. Another year. Thank you 🤲

I blinked and 2025 is over. I learned a lot, cried a lot, laughed a lot… held two alligators and ate many baseball game hot dogs. Leaving the year feeling like the last picture tbh. Yay for 2026!

What a year. What a week. What a night. The final show in Umeå was nothing short of magickal. It is a true privilege to be able to have the last show ever played one of the best shows ever played. The excitement, the tension and the love was off the charts. Most bands are not that lucky. Bands fade away or fizzle out or they might play a decent show that just ended up being their last one. We went out with a bang. The whole evening was stacked with Final Exit opening up and having our old friends in @abhinanda_hc there as they were from day one. @nixumea and @dreamwarriorshc representing the future of Umeå hardcore. @seriouscreep from @youthcodeforever stole the mic for Worms of the senses and we went full circle when inviting @colin_grigson who was our first guitar player to join us for a couple of old school bangers. The entire final week was insane with 6 shows in 5 days or if you are @durasduras 7 shows and of course @dennislyxzen could not be outdone and ended up doing 8 shows in 5 days. 3 of them on the Sunday with him playing with @vannaskasino at the after party. If you saw us all 3 nights in Umeå you would have seen us play 31 different songs. The total tally of songs played this year was about 50 different songs over 66 shows in 25 countries. It has been a truly amazing year and the touring has been probably the best we ever done. Playing as a 4-piece really changed the dynamic of the band and opened up a sound that we want to explore more. Wilder, freer and more loose. But not as Refused instead as something brand new. We are extremely excited to see where this path takes us. Thanks to everyone that came out this year or supported us in any way shape or form. We are eternally grateful. Thanks to all the amazing bands we’ve played with over the years. You really made a difference for us. Thanks to everyone that made all of this happen. A full list of names and accomplishes tagged in the post. Refused is dead. Long live Refused. Photos taken by a bunch of friends that are amazing. @almiiiis @adamhagglund @melinahagglund @lisakarolins @xmartenx @robinlaananen

DEC 1 8 – 2 0 2025 || about this weekend…i’m not the best with words, but i’ll try to articulate the magnitude of what it meant to me. like many, i found @thewarondrugs in 2014. In the years since, they have grown to be ‘my band.’ i don’t mean that in the possessive sense at all. more like, i’ve never connected with any other artist the way i do twod. i never tire of their music. their humility & genuineness is real. that is why—despite zero tickets in hand—i flew to philly with hopes for a night at @johnnybrendas, which is ‘their place’ in the same sense. what i got? (by the grace of God) all 3 nights of pure magic. very humbled to get to share a bit of my little art with you, adam, which you graciously accepted. (thank you.♥) the entire weekend was a dream. fishtown & jb’s & everyone there: thanks for hangin with me & rooting for me. you guys are seriously the best, and philly is kind of my new favorite place thanks to all of you. also! twod have a fantastic fan base. i’m glad i got to experience this with you all (especially @jourdanparenteau, who i didn’t know before this weekend & am now bonded to for life!). i hope my little jb’s print brings you all a smile anytime you see it!! forever lost in the dream @ jb’s.♥ p.s. i left my body a few times during pressure, nbd.🔥
