Still catching my breath from the past weekend of football that, frankly, turned out to not be about the football for me.

The group photo is my ultimate souvenir from the #SingaporeFestivalOfFootball. It was emotional and incredible to see many months of planning and hard work bear fruit, as @nufc.sg hosted our regional friends from the Toony Army Asian Alliance who gathered in the Lion City to watch our beloved @nufc in the flesh at the Singapore Sports Hub.

While it was great for me to see my favourite football team in my backyard, what meant more to me was the people who I met along the way to last Sunday's game.

I renewed acquaintances from Malaysia to Hong Kong, and made new friends from Japan to the UK. I even got to hang with two of my best buds after the game! Equally as important, I got a chance to meet my idols up close , and have them sign my #CarabaoCup2025 winners #footballshirt.

Honestly, I remember little of the match (other than the goals), but this ranks as the best footballing extravaganza I've ever experienced personally, still.

Who knows when I'll get to see Newcastle United in Singapore again? But I do know that the next time my favourite Magpies are in Asia, I won't ever be alone in flying out to watch them there.

HOWAY. THE. LADS.

[Best of 2019 2/2] I know that everyone is over the 2019 memories and Im late to the game 😂 But since we are having the new lunar new year celebrations coming up, Im still in time to do a lunar recap! Instagram doesn’t let me add more than 10 pics, so I will split this in two posts because thankfully there have been many, many highlights for me in 2019, many of which are in my mind and wont make it here 💕 So thankful for every happy moment and for all of you who have contributed to add light into a very hard but also very fulfilling year for me. Love you all ❤️🙏🏻 #countingmyblessings #bestof2019
