Thank you @maja.irene.bolier for last night ❤️🌈

Made noise yesterday at @queerafdenbosch for this amazing spoken word piece written (and sewed) by @maja.irene.bolier about the first time she/they wore a binder.

I am happy I wore a mask because I cried during the performance listening to all these amazing people 💖

Thank you Maja for bringing us all together ❤️ am so happy to have met and performed (and will perform more) with these talented and fantastic people.

Next at @vfest_celebration ?!

I want liberation
I want a body without shame
I want a body that is not afraid
I want this body playing a role that I have chosen.

Next week I will perform "Autonomy/Anatomy" at @queerafdenbosch

This time I will be performing with
@ettaharbar making my sound
and wearing my costumes and reading my words, the amazing

Autonomy/Anatomy is a queer feminist reflection on bodily autonomy and the control of how you are perceived. It explores who holds power over the body and how it’s seen—sitting in the tension between self-determination and the external gaze. The work comes from my own experiences with dysphoria as a queer person with breasts, and from times in life when having a "female" body brought danger and discomfort. Through spoken word and costume, this performance reclaims narrative and visibility on my own terms.

The weather has been great, and moving back to Utrecht has been amazing. I had no idea no much I missed the city until I was back. Can’t wait to see what else the summer has to offer. 😎
