Good, great, grand week!

While I was trying to figure out what photos to insert and what to make the caption I realized I need to pick the ones that have the most meaning and I would share the why….
Well first this is a conference that my fellow DASA (Disability Advocacy Student Alliance) leaders attended to educate teachers and individuals how to include students with disabilities in the classroom…
1. A fun picture of me while just being done with the most professional two days I’ve ever experienced
2. My friends and fellow presenters plus my wonderful, amazing, and extremely supportive teacher who helped us get here.
3. Sadly she was not directly mine…but she was one of the amazing first grade teachers at my elementary school
4. The director of Science For All, along with my friends, who was very encouraging and forward looking of our presentation and ideas
5. Another wonderful lady who works at Morehead planetarium and made sure needs were accommodated
6. My friends and us feeling confident after the first day!
7. My amazing, wonderful friends
8. Us having our hotel moment to still be teenagers after a long formal day
9. Meeting a keynote speaker who goes to Duke, and is only 19! She was really inspiring
10. And last but not least…me on Chapel Hill’s campus, at the Friday Center! #gdtbath
These pictures were all pieces of the puzzle with sessions and fun that all fit together and were glued by the information I learned and hopes for jobs, my school club’s future, and more! Such a great first conference!

DASA leadership at Science For All Summit! We’ve had a great day so far listening to speakers, some all the way from California and some right from Durham. We have the rest of today to listen to more sessions! Then we present tomorrow.
