World Cup 2026 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇭🇷

This week brought the highest highs and the lowest lows. Once again it was an honour to represent my country playing against the top nations at the highest level of 6 a side football ⚽️

Although it wasn’t the result we were looking for, I have made friends for life, memories that I will hold onto forever, and went to war alongside people that I will always be able to call family ❤️

Stay tuned ⏳

Great week away on international duty with the @england6aside_official Under 23s and @england6asidelionessesofficial. On the biggest stage, the @wmfworldcup both teams competed well and though the men fell short of the semi finals the women performed extremely well to leave their first ever tournament with the bronze medal. 🥉

As the Head of Medical it's always nice to oversee these tournaments and there were only a few things to deal with over the 6 days... a dislocated shoulder being the highlight!

Too many people to name and thank but you all know who you are 🙏🏾❤️ Massive shout out to @claudia_jewels who becomes the first Sports Therapist to win a world cup medal for the England national team. 👏🏾

Also thank you to @physiquemgmt for supplying our medical equipment. Looking forward to many more tournaments.

Love to the wife @morgan.cassius for jumping on the commentary for some of the games... anything in front of a microphone and she's in her element. Absolutely smashed it!

Both teams will be looking forward to going further and lifting the trophy in 2 years time. The Three Lions will be back!

Croatia 2026... it has been a pleasure 🫡

A dream come true! @england6asidelionessesofficial @england6aside_official

Making my debut on the world stage still doesn’t feel real. It’s been an honour and a privilege to represent England.

From trials, to being selected for the performance squad, to making the World Cup squad — the whole journey has been so surreal. The little 7-year-old me who first kicked a ball because she was inspired by her brother, and who dreamed of one day playing for England, would be so proud. 🥹❤️

I couldn’t have asked to share this experience with a better group of people. We stuck together through the highs and the lows, supported each other through the tough times, and finished 3rd in the world! 🥉🌍

A huge thank you to the lads who supported us through every game and shared their advice to help us improve. Your support meant so much to us. One team, one family!

To the coaches and staff @jaketoyer11 @craigtuffin @morgancodrington @sa1.fur, thank you for your guidance, encouragement and for helping us get to where we are today. And a special thank you to @markstaines9 for believing in us, pushing us and helping us achieve something so special.
A massive thank you to my sponsors @sweepingwonders @graciewhitemedia and the team sponsors @teletechuk @burtonbrothersbuilders
A memory I’ll cherish forever. This is what dreams are made of. ❤️

Loads of photos but love every single one.
Sometimes things happen in life to allow other things to fall in place.
From the bottom of my heart, I loved every minute I spent with these lads and the girls and will never forget the memories
Hope to see you all again in the future.

Finally thank you @jamie.leggett1985 and @t_cassh for developing me as a 6 aside goalkeeper and most importantly a person ❤️

What a huge honour and privilege it has been to not only represent my country at a World Cup, but also to have been given the opportunity to captain England.

Although it may not have ended the way we had hoped, representing your country is an achievement I’ll always be incredibly proud of. To have shared this experience with such a special group of people makes it even more memorable to me

On to the next 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️

So now the dust has settled & my emotions have calmed, I have been doing Mini football for 12 years now but this week I have had the privilege to manage again at a World Cup 1st one without my dad here but he was looking over me I know this but hurts so much can’t just ring him & hear he speak to me about the games.

I’ve also had the privilege to manage the most amazing players & young men, who I know will go on to achieve great things on & off the pitch thank you lads for everything you all my family for life & we have made memories for a lifetime.

Unfortunately we didn’t achieve our goal it just wasn’t our time but what has been so special to see is the growth of everyone.

Croatia & the 2026 World Cup it’s been special but I promise to myself I’m coming back stronger from this & watch out in 2 years time.
