Holding My God Is Brown in my hands for the first time brought up so many emotions. 🤎

This reflection is about more than unboxing a book; it is about holding years of memory, grief, love, family, resistance, and healing in physical form. This book carries my ancestors, my daughters, my communities, and every version of me who kept writing.

I am deeply grateful to the beautiful writers who offered their words and support through their generous blurbs: @silvairenelara , @karlaflaka13 , @whatwouldscullydo , @ceasarkavelar , @donatomartinez1 , @jozergmusic , and @jsnmgbprz . Thank you for reading my work with such care and helping welcome this book into the world.

My God Is Brown is officially here. 🌽🪶📖

Published by @riotofrosespublishing and available wherever books are sold.

Mil gracias to my beautiful, fierce, chingona publisher @iambrendavaca
