POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

𝗜 𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗜 𝗚𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗗, 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘! 🐇🕳️🤣

I clicked on Canutillo ISD trustee Armando Rodriguez's post expecting a bombshell.

Instead, I got a whole written TELENOVELA about emails, petitions, and anonymous Facebook accounts. 😂📺 Where's the season finale?!

So I went digging into actual news reports and FOLLOWED THE MONEY! 👀

💰 𝗟𝗘𝗧'𝗦 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦!

🏫 𝗕𝗨𝗗𝗚𝗘𝗧: $65.7 MILLION annually!

👩‍🎓 𝗘𝗡𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: About 5,600 students!

💵 𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧: Roughly $11,700 in budgeted funds!

🏗️ 𝗣𝗟𝗨𝗦: A separate $386.2 MILLION voter-approved bond!

That's a LOT of public money to oversee for a district this size! The bond is for multiyear projects, separate from the annual operating budget.

🚨 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳: 𝗖𝗔𝗙𝗘́

El Paso Times reported the scholarship foundation operated for years without public oversight while district staff helped with fundraising. Rodriguez was involved. Experts warned of risks, not proven fraud.

⛳ 𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧-𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

The official fundraiser flyer lists BOTH Rodriguez and 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗜𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗭, the CURRENT BOARD PRESIDENT, plus the district's Public Information Office!

CAFÉ now uses a Paso del Norte Foundation fund. What safeguards govern district resources?

📂 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

Texas AG found public-records compliance failures!

🏫 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

Multimillion-dollar land contract signed BEFORE board approval. District admitted an oversight; TEA later closed its review.

💸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

$5.8M deficit, 11 teachers' contracts not renewed, and previously approved administrative raises trustees couldn't reverse!

🚨 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Three employees arrested following allegations involving special education students. Arrests aren't convictions.

🤔 So an online petition gets an entire TELENOVELA, but documented district issues get what, a footnote?! 😂

Maybe Texas Comptroller Don Huffines should take an interest in these taxpayer-money questions, too! 👀

REPORT: Texas Comptroller Don Huffines signed an executive order banning the use of state grant money to buy or contract for Flock cameras, automated license plate readers, and other vehicle-identification systems that convert license plate images into computer-readable data.

“The government has no business tracking where law-abiding Texans drive. Doing it without a warrant is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution,” Huffines said. “Texans should be able to drive to work, to church, or to the grocery store without a government camera logging it in a database.

“I am humbled and honored to do my part to restore liberty and stop the erosion of freedoms that are constantly being taken from Texans. Government’s job is to protect your liberty, not take it. No spy cameras.”

These requirements will apply to all future grants administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. The agency will incorporate the restriction into all relevant grant solicitations and agreements going forward.

Under the executive order, grantees may not obligate or expend grant funds to procure or obtain prohibited surveillance equipment or services, or to enter into, extend, or renew a contract to procure or obtain them.

Prohibited surveillance equipment or services include any system, software, or computer algorithm, whether used independently or in combination with one or more mobile or fixed automated cameras, that converts license plates or other images into computer‑readable data. This includes, but is not limited to, cameras, sensors, software, subscriptions, and data platforms marketed, sold, or operated by any entity, including Flock Group Inc. (d/b/a Flock Safety), Motorola Solutions Inc., Axon Enterprise Inc., and their successors, affiliates, or resellers offering automated license‑plate recognition or vehicle‑identification systems meeting this definition.

Thank you @governorabbott for hosting the first Texas Faith Summit where over 180 Texas Pastors & Faith Leaders gathered at our State Capitol to pray for our great state, to mobilize the local Church to meet the needs of Texans, & to strategize on how we fight for Christian conservative policies for the next generation!

Thank you to all the stakeholders who made the day possible! And thank you to the bold pastors who are committed to TAKE A STAND for the future of Texas! We’re just getting started!

Attended a terrific political rally & meeting with top Dallas business executive, former TX State Senator, and Texas Comptroller Don Huffines.

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts is the state’s Chief Financial Officer and is extremely important.

Always great to see you and your wife! DOGE Texas!
