A little behind the scenes look at one of our Mercy Tribe retreat song shares 😊 We are fresh off our fall retreat & we have so many fun new songs stuck in our heads!

This song called “Supreme” is a straight scripture choir song - Colossians 1:15-17 🙏🔥

@moniquesademusic @donitadawnh and @megammons got together for this one 🥰

When we share these songs they are straight out of the writing room and soooo fresh. It’s EFFORT and JOY and INSPO and FREEDOM and …..well we love it and are gonna keep doing it :)

Tired and happy. @mercytribemusic Retreat #12 is in the books and it was so special. It doesn’t get old to get to spend these days with new and returning girls, encourage them, write songs with them, see and hear what God is doing in their lives. Thank you Jesus, You’re too good.

One of our favorite ways to put in some reps co-writing!

Join our community Saturday, September 19th from wherever you are! We will have a little encouragement, 3 THEMED co-write blocks where you get to practice your skills hitting a variety of targets with new cowriters, and then hear some of what was created! We will consider these songs also for future projects!

Sign up through our bio link!
Registration closes Friday, September 18th at noon.

Gathering for one more 2026 retreat next month October 21-24th. Gonna connect, celebrate what God has done this year in our community, and…of course…write more songs—-cuz by faith we are looking to begin recording EVERY YEAR. (It’s freaks me out a little to say that! Yes, it’s a big dream and yes it’s gonna take support…but we are building what we feel led to build and what we love).
The songs we write at our retreats are where the album songs come from…so if you’re looking for opportunity … 👀

@mercytribemusic is a growing community and our retreats are OPEN to new songwriting women. If you know one or are one, YOU ARE INVITED to apply!

One of my fave things ever ❤️

The day we get retreat pictures is always a day I feel extra thankful. Although not all moments are the ones I feel like sharing publicly (some tears, some doubt and some occasional panic lol), some captured moments become memorials.

5 years into the journey that is @mercytribemusic …. 11 retreats, 2 live recordings, dozens of women and sooo many songs. Personally, I’ve come to believe that the songwriting is really just the excuse for women to gather, draw closer to Jesus and receive the encouragement, healing, and freedom that He wants for them. That’s my favorite part and these faces remind of that. God loves His daughters. They come, connect, listen, write and leave with lighter hearts and truths riding on melodies in their spirits.

One more retreat happening this year ladies: October 21-24th.

“It’s Been A While” …just a fun clip I found when I was scrolling through song ideas in my voice memos! This was during the writing process with @bryanboliver and @donitadawnh this will always be one of my favorite songs I’ve written simply because it’s honest and vulnerable. I love to see how this song evolved during writing! I’m so grateful that our God stays faithful even when we feel faithless! #songwriter #indieartist #singersongwriter #faith
