MONDO LUPO MUSICA

We are excited to share some amazing artists that will join us this month of march to carefully curate their own vibes at Bar Lupo.

This our very first batch of Mondo Lupo Musica experience. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do. Like we said, no specific genre of music, just good music.

Big thanks to @monomoritz & @sehraffin for helping us on the collabs.

See you for pasta, drinks & good vibes !

In 1987, the song of the Kauai Moho went unanswered, causing its extinction!

Its melody has traveled through time and space thanks to a recording made in 1986 on the island of Kauai by naturalist David Boynton. This story and the extinction of this species were the starting point for this compilation.

We wanted to share this recording with artists who inspire us, so that they could respond to it in their own way, ensuring that the bird would no longer be alone. The music blends with this song and celebrates the precious language we share.

In these difficult times, we would like to dedicate this compilation to all those who call out to the world, so that their cries do not go unanswered.

This month’s broadcast for @narr.radio was a loose tribute of sorts to the late David Lynch. A collection of sounds parallel to his cinematic world; inspiration meant for scoring imaginary, Lynchian spaces. Happy birthday big fish!

Another year sending records all around the world.

Another year another year.

ZW-COMPILATION VOL.I

Music is material, music shapes memories, music makes you move and music is our muse.
Music has been a driving force of ZW. As a motor to get together more often in a society that is polarizing, antagonistic and performance driven. Music has been a way to share our and others artistic visions, not only about music but about a way of doing things our- or yourselves taking a critical stand towards branding, investment-driven thinking, soft power and appropriation. Music helped to shape these rooms into a lively and humming space for Zurich and beyond. This compilation is a small snapshot in time and a moment for us to thank you all. Thanks to all the music heads, the music hearts, the dancers, the artists and everyone who values ZW for what it is, whatever this means to you and to us. For us it surely means that while music is heavily commercialized there will always slumber resistance and collectivity within it and we will continue working hard to provide a space for the dreamers, the solemn, the furious and the dedicated!
