The Ranch’s Youth Singer-Songwriter Collective #2

Youth Host: Alex Boyer

Professional Mentor: Krista McCoy

Sponsored by Donley’s Music of Canton
www.donleysmusic.com

Tuesday, June 16 7:00-9:00 pm. Alpharetta

*******
Every month, The Ranch opens its barn doors to young artist vocalists, guitar or piano players ages 15–21 for an inspiring session of original music, collaboration, and community. Giving emerging artists a supportive space to share their stories and song ideas, develop their craft, gain public performance confidence, hear feedback on their work, and connect with and learn from fellow youth musicians who are just as passionate about songwriting.

The series will be hosted by Alex Boyer, a creative 16 year-old artist from Cumming, Georgia who eats and sleeps with his guitar.
This is not just another open mic. It is an event about growth, education and collaboration.

Each session will be attended by an educator or other professional who will offer insights on lyric writing, song structure and performance skills, and also provide constructive feedback on individual performances.

Krista McCoy is an Atlanta based vocal coach with 20 years of teaching and performing experience in a wide variety of music genres including musical theater, jazz, folk and classical. With a bachelors in vocal performance (California Baptist University), collegiate piano studies, and extensive experience as a show director (35+ shows), Krista is a beloved and highly sought music coach and a perfect fit for the Collective.

Attendance is strictly limited to 7 youth artists.

$30 participation fee.

Each artist will receive a .wav file of their performance, recorded on an analog Neve console.

🇺🇸💙 Freedom Fam, you showed up BIG yesterday! Together we raised $447 for the Cherokee County Homeless Veterans Program 🙌 AND our friends at Donley’s Music are matching it — doubling the impact to nearly $894

We are so proud to see our community rally for those who’ve served us. Thank you for making a difference.
