Your business has grown, or your role has. Has your wardrobe kept up? Presence Made Yours is my new three-month programme, for women whose work has outgrown their wardrobe, and I can't wait to get started. It brings together everything I do (colour, style, your wardrobe, shopping and cosmetics) and points all of it at what you wear for work. What's included: your colour and style analysis, your own wardrobe sorted and edited, what it all means for your working wardrobe, a day learning to shop for yourself, a cosmetics masterclass with @pherrington73, one of the most accomplished makeup artists I know, and a photoshoot at the end with @donnafordography, a really talented photographer with a knack for capturing more of who you are than a standard headshot. It's all booked in from the start, so there's nothing for you to organise. The groups are small, six at most, so there's real room for everyone's questions, and the first ones are for women. The first group starts shortly, and the first four women to join pay a founding price of £2,950, or less if you've already had your colours analysed with me. The easiest way to get a feel for it is the free taster on Zoom on Thursday 22 October at 7.30pm, all about which necklines suit you. Link in my bio.

Reintroduction / A glimpse into my world… Pattern is my purest passion! I have always had a compulsive urge to create, and pattern has been my love from an early age. Growing up surrounded by print and artistic industry, I took creative heritage from both sides, and throughout childhood was continuously making and doing. I tried every craft going, and hit on print around 2016 after trying a lino printing course. Having toddlers at the time, my designs were first bright and simple, growing more complex and rich every year. Adding to my offering over time and trialling different products, with varying success (!) I now have hundreds of designs, a burgeoning lighting fabric and wallpaper range, and a good name for vintage charm and quality. We have worked with some of the most prestigious designers in the world, on some incredible design projects and been stocked at Liberty, Harrods and Bergdorf Goodman. I couldn’t be happier with where I’ve got to in life, drawing every day and channeling my passion into a career, making my art a living rewards me so fully, and I’m so very grateful to my supporters and clients for making this possible. Thank you to @donnafordography for the portraits, you captured me in my natural habitat of pattern! Here’s to another ten years of getting to live my dream 🥂

“Creativity belongs to everyone” - the salient words of @joplattleigh MP, the host of yesterday’s inaugural @wearecreativeuk Westminster Summer Reception. In a warm room, in the Houses of Commons, we were proud to convene many of our members and stakeholders, to launch The Case for the Creative Industries: an Advocacy Toolkit. Despite the balmy conditions, our members were out in force and the message was clear: the creative industries are one of the UK’s greatest strengths, but there is much more to do to if we are to maximise the potential of our sector. Every place has a story. This one is mine… 🌿📷 I’m so happy to have been asked to take part in Human Nature, a beautiful photography project by photographer Donna Ford, exploring our connection to the natural world and the places that become part of who we are. The project is giving me the chance to tell my own story and share why Horsegate is my place. 🤍 Why this little cottage, the woods surrounding it and this corner of the countryside mean so much to me — and how sometimes a place can find you at exactly the moment you need it. Soon Donna will be joining me at Horsegate to walk, talk, listen and photograph. I’m excited, and perhaps a little nervous, to share the story behind why this place has become such an important part of my life. 🌲✨
