I have this theory that the best thing that can happen to your business is getting completely obsessed with it again. ( like you where at the beginning) Because think about how you are when you’re REALLY REALLY into an idea. You want to launch it the same day and literally tell everyone about it. You can already see the whole thing becoming something! And…… you’re not sitting there wondering if it’s going to work or not. You’re too obsessed for that lol. You’re like: OK. I’m doing this. This HAS to exist! No matter what! No forcing yourself to “show up” or staring at a content calendar wondering what the hell to post. You’re just so f*cking into what you’re creating that it wants to come out. And people can feel that energy! So lately I’ve been thinking… what if we’ve been trying to fix our businesses with more strategy, while what we actually lost somewhere along the way was the obsession? This summer feels like a special one. Not only because so many big shifts are happening in my own life… but also because my not so little girl turned 21. Last week we celebrated with all her friends. In two days it’s her actual birthday and we’re celebrating in Champagne, France. There were so many moments over the past 21 years where I wondered if I was doing it right. As a young mom, single mom, married mom, A working mom. I think every mom knows that little voice asking… Am I doing enough? Will they be ok when they are all grown up? And then came the speeches. Listening to her friends talk about who she is. So kind. So warm. So funny. So inspiring. Hearing them describe the woman she has become… I don’t think I’ll ever forget that moment. Tears & much pride. And the thought….. It all turned out so beautifully. She turned out so beautifully. Twenty one years ago I could never have imagined this. Having a daughter like her is one of the greatest gifts life has given me. Somehow life gave me more than I ever knew to ask for when it comes to my children. Because both of them have grown into the most beautiful human beings. And to all moms that worry: “ let life show you how good it can get.” 💫

The feeling when you know you’re stepping into a new era and everything starts falling into place. For this client, we created the creative direction, production and photography for her brand. One of my favourite things about this work is seeing what happens when a woman aligns her brand with who she’s becoming. She shows up differently. She trusts herself more. And suddenly, the opportunities that once felt out of reach start finding their way to her. The frequency of this space is unreal. 💫

‘Vlinders’ - @jonnafraser 🦋 Last Thursday, I had the privilege of attending Jonna Fraser his Ziggo Dome show as part of the project management team! It was a special moment after 1.5 months of intensive collaboration within the team behind this production. Over the past period, I have been involved in the preparation of this show, which brought together project coordination, creative coordination and production support. From monitoring progress and liaising with various internal and external parties to supporting rehearsals and show days, it was valuable to contribute to a project of this scale. Experiencing the end result live, knowing how much teamwork, creativity and organisation went into it, makes these kinds of projects extra special.
