I can’t say enough good things about @fieldstonephotography and @josielynnevents. The greatest day of our ( @just_hannahy ) life was that much better because of the work Josie, Sandra, Liana and their teams do. The best decisions we made regarding our wedding day was booking Fieldstone Photography and Josie Lynn Events, hands down!

Soap and sculpture are wildly distant mediums from one another. Isabel Bloom is a name carved into our local heritage. Lillie & Pine is in infancy. The details of Isabel’s beginnings as a maker are so familiar, though. I’d like to imagine sitting to coffee with her in the East Village trading tips on maximizing space in our home-based design studios more effectively, or juggling production, fulfillment and innovation before the kids get home. Last night, we stopped into the downtown showroom to see Christmas in full display. I was watching Sadie enjoy Donna Young’s nativity set. She looked up and had this great big smile on her face. Could be a smile about anything but she was looking at a shelf of her Mom’s hard work right near the entrance. As a maker, I felt a little swell of pride. Then gratitude toward Isabel. She took a chance on herself - pouring and sculpting cement in her basement, calling on wholesalers so she could share her work. Learning, sometimes painfully, by trial and error to find the best methods and recipes. I can so relate to that. Using coffee tins to store her molds and charging kids on Mother’s Day just whatever change they had in their pocket. In the past two years, my operation has grown from a single shelf in our kitchen to half of our home (sorry Nathan). A large part of our growth this year is because of Isabel. Although our work is very different, our purpose and even process feels similar. Pouring large volumes over our shoulders of concrete or olive oil, to produce delicate finished pieces like a set of lovebirds or peppermint soap - because they bring people joy. Thank you @jill_shively and @donnay2612 for giving me the privilege to call Isabel Bloom a mentor and a brand partner. #lillieandpine #isabelbloom #tagtheqc #womenmakers #downtowndavenport #villageofeastdavenport
