Candy Flippin' out!..
Strawberry DOUGHNUTS Forever 🍓🍩
This record takes me way back to my B'more days... To a short lived, yet amazing record shop, in Mt. Vernon called, '12inch Dance Records' Where @djteddydouglas & Niki (RIP) would be behind the counter.
Being an extension of the already infamous flagship 12inch DR shop on Dupont Circle, DC (becoming DJ HUT years later)... B'more shop had the 'hot-off-the-press' new imported dance releases as DC did... When Belgium Techno, New Beat, & Manchester was hitting hard for that small window space of time in history it lived...
The B'more shop is where I bought this record, 'CandyFlip - Strawberry Fields Forever' on 12" the week it was released. That same day I also purchased, "Petra & Co. - Just Let Go" 12" along with a 'New Beat' 12" named, 'White Rabbit - Airplane Crashers.' I beat the shyyyt out of these records (especially that dub cut of Petra & Co.) when residing at Club Orpheus in B'more for many years every Friday nights & all-ages Sunday evenings. 🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓🍩🍓#baltimorerecordshops #45rpms #candyflip #taffespaceistheplace #doubledoughnuts

Jeff Mills - playing the last beat of the night. The closing ending last night
Underneath the K Bridge. His set was beyond phenomenal! Honestly, one of the best sets l've ever heard. The journey was a cosmic, out of body experience through the futurism of techno, funk, jazz, electronic, house, ambient ✨🎛️👽 ✨ Magical Sound Wizardry! ✨it does not get any better then that. Jeff Mills is extra terrestrial 👽🛸💫🌎🌙
Thank you Jeff Mills. 🙏
