POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

i’m super overwhelmed from last night. God surpassed my expectations in such a powerful way that the whole night felt so surreal. the room was filled with people from so many different backgrounds, cultures, creeds, and walks of life, all experiencing the beauty of the night together. people who may have never crossed paths otherwise, laughing, singing, crying, and dancing together. there were people i’ve known for years and people i had just met that night all coming together for this experience.

i can’t think about it without crying. i’m so, so, so, so grateful to be here and to be doing this with people i love with everything in me.

this show wouldn’t have happened without every single person on my team who worked sooo hard to bring this together. to everyone who came, worked on this project, prayed for me, and prayed with me—thank you so, so much.

this was truly the healing sanctuary. 🤍💐

A home is the life inside it. Farhouse, real estate for the expansive life.

“The Garden Girls set out to transform an overlooked piece of downtown Austin into a thriving culinary garden.”

Shortly after moving to Austin, I was approached by @gardengirlstx to produce this short documentary.

As someone new to the city, projects like this became one of the best ways to get to know it. One of the things I love most about documentary filmmaking is that it gives you a reason to step into someone else’s world for a while. Through this project, I had the chance to follow the Garden Girls and see their passion for gardening first hand, as they transformed an unlikely space and brought their vision to life.

I’m grateful to the Garden Girls for trusting me with their story and for the opportunity to document a small piece of the city I now call home.

Thanks to @donovanjsnider for your help!

#TestimonyTuesday We’re going UP on a Tuesday, friends! This is the inspiring tear-jerker you didn’t know you needed! Introducing ScholarCHIPS (For Children of Incarcerated Parents) Scholar, Mr. Justyce Betts, a member of our 2024 (13th) cohort! From Kansas City, Kansas and recently recruited by Western Michigan University Broncos @wmu_football 🏈 , NCAA Division I, Justyce’s story is one of a mother’s love and sacrifice, a father’s lessons, a love of football and sportsmanship, and an unrelenting determination and drive to make his dreams come true! This young man is a SUPERSTAR! You can see it in his smile, his eyes and you can feel his incredible energy! A sincere and special thank you to Justyce’s mom, Jae Tillman, for sharing Justyce with us and for her belief in ScholarCHIPS’ mission! ❤️ #ScholarCHIPS #ForChildrenofIncarceratedParents
