Day 16 of What I’m Missing: Don’s Pomeroy House🥩🍽️

Some places are more than just restaurants—they become part of your life’s story.

For me, that’s Don’s Pomeroy House in Strongsville.

This is where I took my wife the night I proposed to her, so Don’s will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Ever since that night, it’s become one of our traditions. Every anniversary, and honestly, any time we could find an excuse, we’d end up back at Don’s.

The food never disappoints. From their incredible steaks to whatever seasonal specials are on the menu, it all hits every single time. And during the summer, there’s just something about sitting out on the patio that makes the experience even better.

Some of my favorite Cleveland memories weren’t made at a ballpark or landmark—they were made around a dinner table with the person I love most.

Come back tomorrow for Day 17!

Follow @forevercleveland as I share one thing I miss about Cleveland every single day. Because you can leave Cleveland...but Cleveland never leaves you🧡🧡

It may have snowed last week… but we’re choosing to believe patio season in Cleveland is right around the corner ☀️

We rounded up some of the best patios around Cleveland by vibe, so you actually know where to go when those first real warm days hit.

Brunch. Happy hour. Date night. Breweries. Hidden gems. Kid-approved. And the ones where you completely lose track of time.

Save this for the next 70°+ day and forward it to whoever you’ve been saying “we should grab a patio drink” to all winter ☀️

And drop your go-to Cleveland spot below, we may have missed one 👇

🖤 What's Up Wednesday 🖤

Well, it has been a week! And, for once, a really good one. It was my birthday Thursday so I got a tattoo in memory of Rocky, had an incredible dinner at @donspomeroyhouse and then went out with friends. Valentine's Day, my kiddo and I saw Columbus Metropolitan Ballet perfor Peter Pan at the Ohio Theater. I got this gigantic stack of books and some really amazing additions to my Pennywise collection.

I also have some potentially really amazing news so cross all those fingers, ok? Thoughts and prayers and Care Bear Stares.

How are you all doing? Mid-week check in!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had a nice dinner out at @donspomeroyhouse, they do a Thanksgiving feast that is excellent for small families or people who don't want to cook. Delish! For @kocktailswithkeith you asked about the McKenna 10 yr, this stuff is gooood. 100 proof, I know you like your whiskey a little hot and this is right there. Caramel sweetness up front, oaky on the finish and a little burn on the backend. A nice sipper after a big meal. #cheers!
