✨✨Journey into a world of the sublime. Join us in experiencing, YEAR, a piece where movement is mythological in quality. Elemental, ancient and present, as though the body reaches for a language older and newer than the desire to understand.✨✨ This Fall we have two opportunities to share this work. First, join us at the Hudson Valley Dance Festival where GALLIM will be presenting a portion of the 30-minute piece. Then later, from November 11th to the 15th, experience YEAR in its entirety at the Joyce Theater along with acclaimed work state as well as two new pieces, a solo by Andrea Miller as well as our first-ever commissioned work by former company member Sean Howe. 👁️We look forward to sharing this moment with you all as we return to the journeys that live within YEAR.👁️ Tickets to our Joyce Season are linked in our bio. 📸 Photos by @feelslikedan 📸

non-work may dump. you'd never know i had 17 shoots in the month of may, and stayed on top of all the edits, by how much time and space i had for my friends. but you should know, i only had the strength and energy to do those 17 shoots, cause of all the time and space shared with those friends. it was a crazy month and appreciate fwends who made meeting up easy, who met me at my place or in the flow of moving between points A and B through Z. no greater source of sustainability than the gratitude from ever evolving joys of shared affections among the homies. fun coincidence. @phoebehelander and @jkangbrown came over and phoebe recognized the book in slide 6 laying on my couch cause she picked it up recently herself and we were just like what are the odds! but also yeah that's why we're friends and i love intellectual curiosity alignment type shit like that also s/o to my wednesday waffle homies 🫶🏼 last slide from "delta of venus" by anaïs nin. read at your own risk.
