Nationally Registered EMT 👩‍🚒🚑/ 💪 ISSA Certified Personal Trainer @crunchgranitebay/ 👮🏼‍♀️ Former Deputy

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After weeks of studying for my national registry test and was studying mostly the medical side of EMT, but neglected the administration side--and ultimately failed.

Im using that test fail as fuel to ignite my brain and drive to be more well studied and come back stronger next test, and pass with flying colors.

Its a comeback.

Not everything in life is in my control...but how I release it—that’s where my strength lives.

Breath by breath.
Rep by rep.

Some days the healing is loud...other days it’s quiet.

Just sitting with the weight of everything I’ve survived and reminding myself that I’m still here.

This is part of my journey…

..and part of why I created Lyfe Release.

You’re not alone in the hard days.

You can’t hold the bow back forever. At some point… you have to release.

The arrow.
The trauma.
The tension.

There comes a point where you have to make peace with the past.

We’ve all done things we wish we could go back and change. We’ve made mistakes, hurt people, hurt ourselves, and carried guilt longer than we should. But the truth is… we can’t rewrite what’s already been written.

What we can do is choose who we become next.

The old version of me — the one who made those mistakes — she’s not who I am today. She taught me lessons I needed to learn, but she doesn’t get to control my future anymore.

The new me is learning to forgive her.

Because holding onto shame only keeps you stuck in a life you’ve already outgrown. Forgiveness isn’t pretending the past didn’t happen — it’s accepting it, learning from it, and choosing to move forward anyway.

The old me is gone.

The new me deserves peace, growth, and a full, happy life.

And that starts with forgiveness.

There is a quiet kind of strength that doesn’t flex, doesn’t shout, doesn’t try to prove anything.

It’s the strength to say, “I can’t carry this alone.”

For so long, we’re taught that resilience means handling it ourselves. That toughness means silence. That leadership means never letting them see you struggle.

But real strength?

Real strength is self-awareness.

It’s courage.
It’s humility.
It’s picking up the phone.
It’s walking into therapy.
It’s telling a friend the truth.
It’s admitting you’re overwhelmed instead of pretending you’re fine.

Asking for help doesn’t make you weak.
It means you value your growth more than your ego.

It means you care enough about your future to fight for it.

It means you refuse to drown quietly.

And help doesn’t always look the same.

Sometimes it’s a conversation.
Sometimes it’s professional guidance.
Sometimes it’s finding the right tools — spaces like Lyfe Release — where healing, accountability, and growth are intentional.

You don’t lose power when you reach out.
You build it.

Walk through the storm head on and you'll get through it faster and start rebuilding to be a stronger version of yourself.

There is strength in vulnerability.
There is power in community.

And there is healing waiting on the other side of “I need help.” 🤍

What will it take for you to decide your past doesn’t get the final say?

How much longer will you let old mistakes, trauma, heartbreak, or shame convince you that this is all you’re meant for?

Your story is not finished.

The chapter that hurt you is not the conclusion.

Yes, the past shaped you.

Yes, it left marks.

But it does not get to dictate your future unless you hand it the pen.

Rewriting your story takes courage.
It takes ownership.
It takes uncomfortable growth.
It takes choosing healing over hiding.
It takes deciding that who you are becoming matters more than who you were.

You are not your worst moment.
You are not the season you barely survived.
You are the author now.

So I’ll ask you again —

What will it take for you to take the first step?

Because the moment you decide your future is bigger than your past…
that’s the moment everything changes.

Every day we have a choice about where we place our attention.

Life will always give us challenges, pain, loss, and moments that try to pull us into darkness. But it also gives us quiet blessings that are easy to overlook if we aren’t looking for them.

A daily gratitude journal is more than writing down a few good things that happened. It’s a practice of retraining the mind to notice hope, progress, and light—even on the hardest days.

Gratitude helps us:

✨ Shift our focus from what’s missing to what’s present
✨ Build resilience during difficult seasons
✨ Create awareness of growth and healing
✨ Remind ourselves that even small moments matter

Some days gratitude might be something big.
Other days it might simply be:
“I made it through today.”
“I took one step forward.”
“The sun felt warm on my face.”

Those moments count.

At LYFE Release, we believe healing is built through small daily practices that reconnect us with purpose, hope, and self-compassion. A gratitude journal is one simple but powerful place to begin.

What are three things you're grateful for today? ✨

Not every battle is loud.

Some are fought behind quiet smiles, steady breaths, and “I’m okay” replies.

Suffering doesn’t always look like breaking down.
Sometimes it looks like showing up when your heart is heavy.

Sometimes it looks like carrying memories, grief, addiction, loss, and healing all at once.

If you’re fighting a silent battle right now… I see you.

Keep going. Your story isn’t over.

Behind strength, discipline, and service… many warriors quietly battle self-doubt.

Imposter syndrome is real in first responders and veterans.

But healing is NOT weakness.

It is strength redirected.

You are NOT alone in this fight.
