I’m burnt out.. but I don’t regret it at all.

This summer has changed my life. Sounds hella corny and definitely a bit late to posting but I truly mean it.

Going freelance in April was a real gamble and terrifying experience, because it was new and I thought I’d be alone. But it opened doors I didn’t even know existed and I’ve learned just how much it impacts your self worth and potential to grow as a creative.

I’m constantly developing new skills, boundaries and stronger independence so fast I can’t even keep up and man does it feel incredible to know every penny you earn was on your own terms, doing something that YOU LOVE.

For the first time in my life, I’m working a full-time creative career — in a community where I feel truly accepted for being nothing other than my goober queer adhd self.

I’m continuously meeting new mentors and friends who inspire me and push me creatively. I came from nothing, failed so many times and grafted for years with still no qualifications to my name; but I’m here now.

I’m so sooo grateful to every single person who’s ever taken a chance on me or shared their time or wisdom to allow me to get to where I am now. The future isn’t predictable anymore and that’s so exciting!!!!!

Tonight, we’re launching DOOM SCRL.

A live platform that enables creatives to show, share and discuss their work.

An open-mic style format where ideas, projects and experiences are explored in real time, in front of a room, not just a feed.

We’re hosting this first pilot from our Bristol office, with a small, intimate audience — but streaming it worldwide to anyone who wants to tune in.

DOOM SCRL is made by creatives, for creatives.
It’s about connection, context, and conversation, bringing the feeling of scrolling into a real space, and giving the work the room it deserves.
