POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

today is my birthday, i don’t normally get very personal on here but as birthdays are i’m reflecting on how much my art, and me behind it have been capable to grow and the ways i can express myself since my last. i’d like to make a post showcasing photos from this last year

my gratitude and appreciation to everyone i’ve had the privilege to meet this past year and in the past is really endless. this expression of my art and the trust to have these shared experiences has given me the gift of having these brief special connections with people i could have never even dreamt of meeting. it’s the most humbling, beautiful thing i’m able to do

most importantly thank you to my closest friends alongside our studio. i have the privilege to work and grow with the most amazing artists, which is a gift that continues to help me expand my understanding. it inspires new perspectives that exponentially help me grow. it all motivates me and gives me support to continue to do what i do. none of this would be possible without these people. love you all

excited to share more

my shapeshifting center, visualized as lace armor. because vulnerability is one of the greatest strengths and weaknesses all at once. because through it’s emotional affect beauty is designed to protect delicate creatures, yet beauty can expose one’s delicacy. but we can protect ourselves and one another with our gentle softness and intricate details. to love is to be tender is to tend to the wound that pains. when tended to and then protected, wounds will heal. i’ll protect the angel i created when i was 17. these are my tethers. chain-link connections. lace armor and poems on my skin, my skin my soft seal between my life force and source. protect me with ink filled symbols of trust and devotion. these exchanges enchant me. permanent ink all while permanence doesn’t exist, infused with paradoxical poise. accentuations define the form and the body is present. remnants of relation forever touch back. exposing myself
