2XU LONG BEACH MARATHON ⚡️ First marathon on paper but 2x marathoner realistically. Wanted 3:30hrs finished with 3:44hrs, glad we finished regarding the fact that both knees were failing me and had multiple cramps miles 24-26 but fought the mental and physical battles and kept moving forward. Enjoyed every moment that led to this race! Proud of everyone who also did this race! Lots of PR’s were hit! S/O @avrunwithfaith @run_mario_run Huge thanks for all the support, encouragement, and training! 🙏🏽 #2xulongbeachmarathon #longbeachmarathon #nike #oakley

This past weekend, a group of 40+ AV faith-based runners from @avrunwithfaith came together to participate in this year’s @longbeachmarathon. For many, it was their first 5K, half, or full marathon 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️. It was inspiring to see how everyone showed up for one another, not just on race day, but throughout the preparation (May-October). Huge shoutout to @run_mario_run for preparing us for our race 👏🏼🙌🏽 and to everyone who came out to cheer on the runners. That’s what community is all about 🫶🏽 I’m super proud of every single one of our runners. I am excited to see what the future has in store for them and @avrunwithfaith Special shoutout to my brother @christianramirez.7 he’s the one who told me about the race, and I shared it with our group! That simple interaction let to 40+ people registering for the race 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️🙏🏼 Remember Que “La vida te da desafíos, pero no es para que los confrontes solo.” Stay rooted in your faith ✝️ @projectrootedav Dios contigo quien contra ti ✝️ -Panchito
