When your crazy Colombian girl friend invites you to the game, I made sure to make friends with the people with the best tailgate food 😂 and they shared their lobster 🦞 and shrimp 🍤 and Polish Hot Dogs 🌭 Omg they were so generous and it was so good! #wearentshy #tailagte #westpointfootball 💯

I know this comes with the territory of rescues, I know it comes with the territory of being a pet sitter, I know it comes with the territory of loving animals so damn much… But dammit! My heart shatters every time…

Willy was one of those “Be careful around him, don’t touch his feet, no sudden movements, stay away from his face,… And that’s normal for some dogs. Especially rescues. It’s all about giving them space and respecting their Space. Letting them tell you what they want, how they want to be approached when they want to be approached. It’s about how they want to be loved and when they want to be loved… I waited for the cues, showed him compassion and patience.

I got to spend a lot of time with him last week and I am so grateful for it. He taught me some new things and he kept me in check and my ego at bay. And then he showed me love. He would bring me his toy. He would get on my lap. He even let me pick him up and kiss his face. Im so glad that I got to see the best of him. Thank you Willy, You were a good boy.
