🚨 DORMAN IS COMING TO BRISTOL! 🚨

The Dorman Cavaliers (SC) enter the 2026 Arby’s Classic with a loaded senior group and one of the top scoring duos in South Carolina. 👀🔥

⭐ Jaden Johnson — a Class of 2027 guard, IU Indy commit and 3x All-State selection who led Dorman last season with 22 points per game while adding more than 3 assists per game.

🎯 Aaden Bruton-Smith — a 6’5 Class of 2027 scoring wing, Charleston Southern commit and 2x All-Region selection who gives the Cavaliers another proven offensive weapon.

💪 Dorman also returns a strong senior core featuring 6’5 Luke Henry, 6’6 Brishawn Young Jr. and 6’2 Andrew Scales, all of whom are receiving college interest.

🏆 The Cavaliers have their sights set on another deep postseason run and a chance to capture their sixth SCHSL state championship under head coach Thomas Ryan.

🏀 JADEN JOHNSON ➡️ IU INDIANAPOLIS

The Class of 2027 Dorman guard announced his commitment to the Jaguars on September 28. Another Upstate player has earned his Division I opportunity.

Our full Upstate prospect rankings haven’t been released, but we’ll share this: Johnson is our No. 2 area prospect, behind Charleston commit Colt Fowler. That’s our opinion—not a consensus ranking. Both guards deserve their opportunities.

Johnson’s journey through Dorman and Upward Stars has brought growing recognition, including 2026 All-Area honors and praise from Coach Thomas Ryan for his completeness as a guard.

Now he has a college destination—and one more high school season ahead.

Congratulations to Jaden, his family, and the coaches who helped him reach this point. We’re looking forward to his final chapter at Dorman and everything that follows in Indianapolis. 👏
