Wow. August has come. August is gone.

Happy September 2025. I am grateful for the power to pause.

Not when I am too tired, too exhausted, or overwhelmed. I pause because it’s time to pause. Period. ✨

This one habit has made a HUGE impact and difference in my life.

I invite you to do the same...somehow, somewhere in your life.

You can thank me later ~

Well look at this! The last day of July 2025 has come.

Welcome August 2025!

We’re on the eight month for this year. Keep moving forward.

Rest and pause when needed.
No judgement or critique. You’re worthy to pause.

Week 9: Design Your Life 💕

During this week, the mothers received their personal copy of the Healthy By Design workbook.

This began as an idea in my mind. I shared my hand written notes to the amazing @kylahcapriimedia and she turned this into a work of art! Then we had the incredible @dorrianbrooks come on the team and grace us with her working Genius!

To be clear, this is not about a workbook in itself. This is an example of how we ALL need others in our lives to create an intentional and meaningful life for ourselves.

The mothers that participated in this workshop now have the opportunity to create their own unique experience and path. I shared that this is not always easy. However, it is worth the effort and time to invest in oneself and life.

I’m grateful for A Girl Like Me, Inc. @agirllikemeinc for inviting me to facilitate the Spring 2025 Parenting Class 💕🙏🏾

I’m looking forward to working with you all for another cohort/session!

Stopping isn’t always appreciated.

Exhaustion is overrated.

Please take time for yourself as we enter into a new month in 2025.

Rest is the resistance. Your peace is precious. You’re worth the pause.

The interesting part about relationships is that each and everyone begins with ourselves. Meaning, the way that we relate with ourselves is a major contributing factor in how we relate with others.

There are times when we have entertained others with a representative of ourselves and this can be for a long time. I realize this is one reason why I personally began to erode in some relationships. I could no longer keep up the performance.

How about you? Are you able to be your authentic self with yourself?

It’s not an easy journey but it is worth every step.

Keep moving forward one step at a time.

The waitlist is still on the way for Healthy By Design.
