We are all in love with Oreo 🥰 What a little legend he was today. His first play over some small XC fences and he absolutely loved it. Superstar in the making, well done Barns 🤩

As our horses get older, their needs change - but their comfort, happiness and potential shouldn’t have to.

Golden Oldies supports muscle maintenance, digestive health and joint comfort, with a cereal-free, low sugar and starch formula designed for veteran horses.

Helping our golden oldies stay comfortable, feel their best and enjoy life in and out of the ring 💛

What an incredible two days we’ve had with the @kcdreaaageacademy 💜

It’s been a pleasure meeting so many talented riders and their horses, watching some fantastic dressage and discussing the role of nutrition in supporting performance, recovery and overall wellbeing in horses competing between the white boards.

I don’t have enough words for how much love I had for this boy yesterday.

A beautiful end to a season which on paper might not be perfect but to me was everything.

I started this season with hopes of stepping Bee up to 90, for her to sadly go lame and have to go into semi retirement.

I am unendingly grateful for the kindness of Reggie’s owners in letting me take him on and sharing my first season at 90 with him. Building our partnership has been so much fun, and yesterday was peak me and Reggie Teds <3

We did the whole event by ourselves, he was SO beautifully behaved, producing a lovely 31.3 test, LOVELY forward clear round show jumping in which I finally managed to actually sit and hold down a related distance and then what SHOULD have been a beautiful clear inside the time cross country… but guess who missed the final fence on the TWO COURSE WALKS SHE DID SO SHE WOULDNT GO THE WRONG WAY. Managed to pick him back up from our attempt to walk off course the wrong way and hop the final fence with just time pens, so TECHNICALLY double clear.

Teds doesn’t know this though, he just knows he was the goodest boy letting me trundle him and all my XC stuff down to the start line in a wheelbarrow so I could do a speed change between SJ and XC….

I could be frustrated with all the silly mistakes this season, but as @katie.williams.eventing.coach reminds me, I have to remember that starting eventing at 34 years old means I have less experience than some of the kids pinging round on ponies!

Thanks to everyone who has helped me make this season the success that it has been @katie.williams.eventing.coach @melissa_lister_ @dosequestrian.keyflow @empoweringexcellence @theperformance.hub @kierrylou @westlake.vet.physio

Look at that handsome boy. Love you Reggie Tedward.

William having a blast this week! Don’t think you can find many horses as cool as him, just absolutely adore him💗

We bought Toddy as a raw, feral 3 year old, earlier this year. He couldn’t be caught and had no idea of what forward on his own meant! We finally gained his trust and Tom has been coming to us to start his education, alongside Beau. Starting on the lunge, encouraging him to move forward on his own, and this week introducing the long reins in the stable in a safe environment, finishing with a short walk around the yard 🥰 Thank you Tom for doing such an amazing job, and for being so patient…with Beau too! 🤣🙏 We think he’s going to be rather special 🤩
