Throwback to our Dosnoventa Launch Party for the Los Angeles and Detroit. There was a static display of Dosnoventa builds from the community, and the Dosnoventa Singapore Rider’s Club was boothing outside our store selling their tees. Thank you everyone who came by, and everybody who’s placed a pre-order on the incoming Dosnoventa frames. If you’re interested, we still have some pre-order slots for the Dosnoventa Los Angeles and Detroit frames that will be arriving in early November. All you need to do is to place a 20% deposit on the full price upfront, and you will receive a gift pack consisting of a free Thomson x4 stem of your length and colour choice, and a Fishtail tee of your choice of design and size. Remaining payment will be collected upon frameset handover in November. Should you choose to pay the full price upfront. You will receive the full set of 3 different models of D.I.D chains, including the NJS Rust-Less model. Drop us a message if you would like to order! . . . #fixie #fixedgear #fixedgearsingapore #fixedgearbike #savethetrackbike

Last year, I created the "Don't Look Back in Anger" sticker's design style inspired by Notchas, as well as the "Double Butted Tubing" sticker inspired by Columbus Tubing. Looking back, I realized I made those designs simply because I liked them. Over time, as I studied design, my perspective changed. I've become more aware of the importance of respecting original creators, their work, and the identity they've built. I won’t question @dosnoventa.src intentions in creating this cycling group. I believe the goal is to keep the local fixed gear community active and bring together Dosnoventa owners to share their unique builds. However, I personally don’t think it’s appropriate to create and sell merchandise that closely resembles a brand’s identity without seeking approval from the brand itself first. Even if it’s a rider’s club merchandise, I believe asking for permission would be the more respectful approach. I also don’t think the Honda Club example is directly comparable, as some clubs are officially authorized while others may simply be tolerated. Lastly, @fishtailcyc, I expected a higher standard from you as a Dosnoventa retailer. I’m genuinely curious whether approval from Dosnoventa was obtained before supporting the sale of this merchandise. This isn’t meant to accuse anyone or claim wrongdoing. It’s simply my perspective on respecting creators, design, and the brands we admire. Supporting a brand isn’t just about buying its products. It’s also about respecting the people and identity behind it. Not everyone has to agree with me. This is simply the standard I choose to hold myself to.
