words cannot describe how grateful I am for leadership development and new life ranch, the best times of my life were spent in the 8 weeks of this program through scrubbing dishes and clearing trails in Nehi, backpacking 22 miles and leading day campers in Tim Team, to spending hours editing and supporting my people in soma. a big shoutout to all the counselors I had who poured into me so so well throughout it all, and so thankful that I get to serve such an intentional God that placed this place and these people into my life because I have been changed in all the right ways by them !

My final summer at New Life Ranch after 13 years! I was a SOMA leader, which means that I was a counselor for those completing the final stage of the Leadership Development program, and each had their own important roles and responsibilities at camp. I am so proud of all of them and so grateful for all of the ways New Life Ranch has been a blessing to me over the years and especially all the people I have met there who have shown me how to live more like Christ.

Faithful Faithful are you God! I was blessed to be a camp counselor at New Life Ranch to finish out Leadership Development! So thankful to the staff and my counselors for encouraging me and letting me ask questions. The biggest thing I learned on this journey is do not be prideful towards others or God but instead“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. We’ve all been given gifts and should not be scared to display them so others could see God and his great love and grace.
