Absolutely nothing gives 90’s Halloween more than a good old fashioned church trunk-or-treat!!!🎃✝️✨🍬

Don’t fight with your fists what can only be fought in faith.

Encouraged by my time with Pastors Mark and Michele Benson and the incredible people of Dothan First Assembly of God!

There’s something powerful about seeing a legacy church continue to grow, reach people, develop leaders, and multiply its impact. Healthy churches don’t just celebrate what God has done—they keep making room for what He wants to do next.

Grateful for Mark and Michele’s leadership and excited about what God is doing through Dothan First! The best is still ahead. 🙌

“I’ve witnessed Your faithfulness
I’ve seen You breathe life within
So I’ll pour out my praise again
You’re worthy, God, You’re worthy of all of it
Your promises never fail
I’ve got stories I’ll live to tell
So I’ll pour out my praise again
You’re worthy, God, You’re worth of all of it

To the broken, I’ve witnessed it
To the hurting, I’ve witnessed it
To the lost I will witness it
Yeah, I’ll tell them this, I’ll tell them what I’ve witnessed”

the gift I have of celebrating Mother’s Day doesn’t pass me by. I now “belong” to a group that I felt excluded (& rejected) by for so long. It’s feels weird, good, bittersweet, complex. I sit in the pew with Darci just praying another woman with a hurting heart isn’t seeing me & feeling sadness. Infertility is a battle often fought silently - which is a reminder (to even me) that when we see moms, we don’t know what they’ve walked through - infertility, loss, fostering, adoption, being a step parent - we simply just don’t know, although I know it doesn’t stop the ache when you’re longing to be in that position.

My prayer is that when someone sees me or my story, they feel hope. That when they feel their weakest, when they feel doubtful, that they can see where God has come through in their life before & believe they will witness His power again.

I will never be someone that shuts you down when you’re hurting over yet another negative pregnancy test. I am here for you if you’re waiting. I’m here for the mom in the thick of birth trauma or newborn season. I’m here for the mom going through pumping or breastfeeding. I’m here for the mom who is also surviving *teachable* twos 🤪

Motherhood is a crazy wild beautiful journey, & I am so grateful for the privilege to be a mom to my miracle girl. She’s truly a dream come true, down to her name.. in true 2 fashion, to get her to take a picture with me, dad had to “go to the potty” so he could disappear, she’s on a real dad kick lately & wouldn’t let him let her go🥲

Loving on all the days it’s just me, Mikey, & our sweet Darci Laine. 💗💗💗
