This market wasn’t built by accident.

Cultural Harvest Collective exists because BIPOC farmers, makers, and small business owners deserve a space that’s truly theirs — not an afterthought, not a single booth in someone else’s market, but a space built from the ground up to center us.

This is a market for our whole community — everyone is welcome here. And when it comes to who we’re seeking as vendors, we mean it specifically: Black, Indigenous, every person with melanin. Mono-racial, mixed, half, quarter — if you’re a person of color who’s never fully fit the box, this place is for you. Farmers, food makers, artists, crafters, small business owners of all kinds. If you’ve got something to share, there’s a place for you at this table.

Tomorrow at market, come support:
🟢 The B Bite
🟢 The Street Corn Dude
🟢 Dot Ranch
🟢 Pollinator Haven Farms
🟢 Greene Beadwork
🟢 Kneaded Chaos
🟢 Postres Camila
🟢 A Cozy Place

And we’re still looking for more! We’re actively recruiting food and craft vendors for the rest of the season. If that’s you — or someone you know — send us a DM. We’d love to have you.

See you Sunday. 🌾

Green beans grown 10 minutes from your kitchen. Picked by hands you could shake at the market this weekend.

That’s not a small thing.
That’s food sovereignty.
That’s knowing exactly where your dollars go and who they support.

That’s teaching your kids that food doesn’t start at a store — it starts with soil, sun, and someone who cared for it.

In a moment where so much feels uncertain, this is something you can actually hold onto: real relationships with the people who grow your food.

Come find your farmer this Sunday. 🫘

#BlackAndBrownFarmers #FarmToTable #LocalFood #SupportLocalFarmers #FreshProduce

Last Friday night was everything I have wanted to see in this Valley.

Watching Black history honored and Black joy alive in the streets of Monmouth is something I never saw growing up outside of Portland. To see it happening here, in Polk County, in our second year — I don’t have words big enough for that.

None of this happens without people who show up and give their time, energy, and heart.

To our volunteers — you are the backbone of this event. Full stop.

Thank you to the City of Monmouth for believing in this vision. To every community partner who made it real: Dry Town and their beer garden collaboration, Oregon Family Support Network, Ash Creek Arts Center, and our market sponsor Be Blac Foundation. To Rich McCloud and DJ Dum Loud for bringing the energy this night deserved.

To every vendor who set up their table and represented. To every family, every elder, every child, every neighbor who walked into the park and stayed — you showed up for your community and your community felt it.

This is what we build when we build together.
Year two. And we’re just getting started. 🌿🖤

Thursday Truth Telling

Meet Mickey of Dot Ranch Farms.

In her own words, Mickey shares what it means to be mixed race — and what it means to finally show up as a culturally specific food vendor, owning her full heritage instead of shrinking it to fit somewhere else.

This is what “We Brought Our Own” looks like. Space to be exactly who you are.

🎥 Watch Mickey’s story ☝🏽.

Find Dot Ranch Farms this Sunday, 1-5PM at Main Street Park.

If you get the chance to head to the Cultural Harvest Collective at Main Street Park in Monmouth, I highly recommend trying Dot Ranch’s lamb breakfast sausage. It is rather good, to say the least. #culturalharvestcollective #dotranch #lambsausage #breakfastsausages
