It’s Tony’s week which is like the superbowl for theater nerds like me. Working at the Tony’s is such an honor and a privilege and also stirs up so many varying emotions. Getting to be in a giant theater doing what you love with 100s of people who you’ve known and worked with throughout the years who are ALSO doing what they love and are so good at…it truly doesn’t get better than that. I get nostalgic and grateful and happy and sad and tired and overwhelmed with love when I think about all of it, so here’s a little look at my experiences at the Tony’s over the years. From walking the carpet, hair and makeup, to the legacy robe, gifts, and after party, it’s all here. Getting to opening night when you’re in an original broadway production like Schmigadoon! takes so much work and the folks working our musical are so dang talented. From our ensemble to our design and production team, this group is a special one. We’ve worked so hard and we are so happy to finally OPEN!!!

This is my 6th (!!!) broadway show and it’s always a pinch me moment that I get to be apart of this community. I love the theater and everything that goes into this art form.
