🕯️ 10 BOOKS. 10 READERS. THE DARK HAS CHOSEN.

Well… that was so much harder than anticipated.

So many of you signed up, but we had just 10 physical copies of Taken by Shadows to send into the darkness. And kudos to us as we successfully resisted the urge to bankrupt ourselves as these were bought and supplied by us.

After much deliberation the readers have now been selected…. all 10 have been tagged in the post. Go see if the shadows chose you…

🎁 BUT WE’RE NOT DONE WITH YOU YET…

Tomorrow is the cut off for bookish goodies for selected readers.

Haven’t signed up yet? Run to the bio and fill out the form before it’s too late…

Or know someone who needs summoning into the darkness? Tag them below👇

**Psssttt and if you’ve read this far… maybe now is a good time to tell you that the author has put together a little giveaway for us to send one selected reader at the end of the read, more coming on that soon…**

My first dump from @fanforfest libertalia ✨featuring my shenanigans from Friday and Sunday! And a very special chicken figure 🫣

Thank you to everyone who made the weekend so magical 💖

Both of these outfits were made by me!

Pirate Saturday is coming 🤭 - it didn’t all fit in one post

Lazy shit vlog ™️ of @fanforfest day 1 ( FRIDAY )

Due to the weather I was in a backup outfit and a diy cape I made on site with a piece of fabric and fasteners from chows emporium.

@bookish.and.brash did it again, what an incredible event!

Fables in the Follies at @hawkstoneparkfollies was another incredible event and honestly one of my favourite events of the year. Fantastic people and magical settings… a photographers dream ✨❤️

Thank you so much for having me again, I can’t wait untill the next @bookish.and.brash event! And to show you more from this magical day ✨🍃🗡️

✨️ FABLES IN THE FOLLIES 2026 ✨️

And just like that... our little adventure into the Follies is over for another year. 🌿

To everyone who came along, thank you. Truly. Without your support & belief in the slightly ridiculous ideas we dream up, we simply wouldnt be able to do what we do. Every ticket, every bit of encouragement and every person who choose to spend their day with us means more than you know ❤️

A huge thank you to Lizzy (@emworiginals ) for capuring the magic of the day, your enthusiasm and passion shines through in every photograph and I genuinely cannot thank you enough for making everyone feel so happy and comfortable in front of the lens.

And finally another enormous thank you to @hawkstoneparkfollies , especially Sam, Karl & Howard, for once again opening the gates to our silly ideas and being so incredibly accommodating. You genuinely could not have done more to help us create this experience and we are so grateful for the kindness and trust you've shown us. 🌿

Fables started off as a fun little idea that we hoped would work and honestly we couldn't have asked for a better day.

Thank you for wandering with us ✨️🧚‍♀️

See you again next year.... 👀✨️
