🎱💥 Huge thank you to @dotworkart for putting together another incredible #JazzNight at @deadbeatblackwood — feat. 🎷(@knee_shoes) Nisarg Shah Quartet and live drawings by Kyle W (@kyleslivesketches)! Deadbeat hosts a jazz band every Wednesday (except the third one of the month, which is reserved for the original music open mic). It truly takes a village of creative people to keep a DIY venue like this running. If you haven't yet done so, please come out for a night of live music and support this *much-needed* original music venue in Southern New Jersey! 😎🫶 (video by me ~ @newloverocks)

🚨🎺🎸 I’ve *always* wanted to host an open mic and what better location than @DeadBeatBlackwood ?! FIRST EVER ORIGINAL MUSIC OPEN STAGE WED 8-19 7-9pm! Sign-ups open up at 6:30. Original music preferred. ✍️ Any and all instruments welcome. Drum kit will be set up (drummers will need cymbal stands + breakables). Depending on success, the plan is for this open mic to occur on the third Wednesday of the month! (…first one being August 19th!)
🎤😎🎶
Deadbeat is a space that enables and promotes artists and musicians of all genres, encouraging a culture of creativity and a community made stronger by the arts. There is no cover charge for this event, but limited performance spots are available — first come, first served. Come on by to appreciate the art on the walls, meet some new musicians, and share your music with the world. #openstage #deadbeat #deadbeatblackwood

It’s been 7 years since the last time I have shown my art in a gallery! Glad I fixed that today 🖤 I felt it was more important than ever to get my Malala piece out there again to raise awareness of the current state of women’s rights in Afghanistan. Congratulations to @dotworkart on the opening of @deadbeatblackwood! And thank you for letting me be a part of the art show! We had a tattoo flash event at @kriegandsieg as well to coincide with the opening, so thank you to those who came by! (As a side note, I figured out even though it’s been 2.5 years since I last played pool, I’m actually okay-ish and not embarrassingly okay-ish!)

Some of my photography will be on display at the grand opening of DEADBEAT GALLERY VENUE in Blackwood, NJ on August 8th 2026.

This is the first time I have ever displayed any of my work anywhere. Put together some of my favorite moments that I have captured on film.

Photography has changed my perspective of the world for the better. Having this outlet in my life since 2012 has helped me connect with the world in a spiritual way that I could never put into words so I’ll let the work do the talking.

Thank you @dotworkart for giving me this opportunity.

Hope to see my people there.

🎙️🎸🐊 Had an absolute blast being interviewed by @mightyjoecastro about *Alligator America* on his "Wake Up, You're Rambling" podcast! Inspired by the song's lyrical content, we get fired up about modern American culture revolving around #Christianity, #ArtificialIntelligence, #PoliticalCorruption, and much more! (We also chat about how I started as a songwriter!) I have a feeling you'll appreciate the "realness" of this little "fireside chat." You can listen to the full episode of this podcast on substack now! Much love, everyone! We'll get through these dark times together! 😘✊🗽🇺🇸...LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL! (cover photo by the awesome @rosieboffophotography) Lastly, as an American today, what are you most concerned about?

🎻🐊🇺🇸❤‍🔥 Bows on strings and cathedral-esque keys radically transform this song as it evolves and becomes more desperate in tone — thanks to Megan, Ron, and John for wrapping a layer of dramatic warmth around this wild, honest alt-rock protest song. 🎇✊ I’m so grateful for these musicians, not only composing short-notice before this studio session, but also improvising on the fly and working so smoothly together as a unit! Thanks again to Joseph (@k0ala_lala) for both tracking/engineering AND setting the bloody mood! 🎛️🚨 This song wouldn’t have been possible without ✨all yall.✨ 🫡💯 Stay legendary — be revolutionary! -Brando (@newloverocks) #makingof #strings #DIYmusic #AlligatorAmerica #nokings

Happy 100th birthday to @thebenfranklinbridge! (...And what beautiful weather for Alligators!🐊) This past Saturday, we caught the tail end of the bridge-walking ceremony — let's not forget who they named the bridge after: the outspoken founder of The Pennsylvania Gazette (distributed to our 13 British-American colonies) and creator of various historic political cartoons which were critical of American policies. We all know him as one of many proud initial signers of the Declaration of Independence. History has a weird way of repeating itself for those who don't take the time to study up — don't let tyrannical kings take your rights away. Stay free; stay outspoken. That's what Ben did it for, after all — for collective liberty...for you and for me. Be appreciative for what you have, but don't take it so much for granted that you forget to criticize that which might threaten to take it all away.
