Our band Utopia Avenue’s debut single, “The Living Dead”, is out.

This song came from a place of vulnerability and loneliness; Cade and I both expressed the messy parts of our mental health struggles and discovered just how much we had in common - I had felt so embarrassed about myself and the things that I would do to cope, only to find out that I was never, ever alone.

I think that Cade is one of the most talented and genuine people in the whole entire world. Making music with him is absolutely cosmic, and the second we started writing, we couldn’t stop. He is not only an incredible artist, but an intentional, amazing friend to many, especially me. I am so, so lucky and thankful every day for the way our friendship has impacted my life.

I hope all of you can hear this song and feel less alone. Whatever you’re going through, however you’re coping with it, I promise I’ve been there, and I love you all the same <3

Welcome to Utopia Avenue. I hope you’ll stay a while, because we have so much more to show you.

“The Living Dead” is finally out.

What started as two friends having a random cowrite in March became an escape away from our overwhelming lives on a little street in South Nashville with a blue door; this music has bonded us forever, and we are so grateful to shout these words and have an outlet to feel less isolated inside of our mental struggles.

This is only the beginning. We hope that you love it <3

Welcome to Utopia Avenue.
