Bit late to the party, but here we go: Another almost three weeks in the US — taking some time off with my better half @verena_oswald to travel across Louisiana/Texas (New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Austin & Dallas) and finishing the trip with New York City once again.

In between all of that: working Lost Evenings IX (@losteveningsfest) — my fifth time in a row by now. And as usual, it was an absolute blast.

Although it’s always insanely busy, intense and exhausting, getting together once a year with this incredible and very special bunch of people is one of those things that makes me stop for a second, pinch myself, and realize just how lucky I am sometimes. My job is mostly crazy, stressful and exhausting — but moments like these remind me that it also has a truly beautiful side and I’ll forever be grateful for that.

Thank you, @frankturner and @xtramilerecordings for trusting me and my work for so many years now. Thank you to the entire crew for the endless effort, dedication and countless hours that go into making this whole thing happen. Thank you to all the fans for the swag, for always showing up and making this festival as unique as it is every single year.

That being said, next year will be the last one. I’m still a little bit in denial because, honestly, I really don’t want it to end. But for now, let’s not think about the ending just yet. Let’s look forward to going out with a bang and finishing this incredible journey big and in style next year in London @ OVO Arena Wembley - can’t wait to see you all there.

In the meantime: stay kind, my friends.

@losteveningsfest 9. Thank you to @frankturner and his incredible earth angel team, crew and community for a wonderful few days in Dallas together. What an honor and privilege to be alive at the same time and to participate with something bigger than us all.

So many hugs, teary eyed hopeful conversations, smiles, dancing, heartfelt exchanges of appreciation that were shared. Micah and I are always honored to be involved in the orbit of what Frank continues to create beyond his songs.

In times of uncertainty, chaos, fascism, fear and financial burdens, I have found, gathering with your people, old and new, is where the hope, resistance, joy, love and building of a better tomorrow exist. To actively be involved in picking up those bricks for a better tomorrow is where I want to be. It’s where I feel a practical and tactile belief in active resistance to oppression and where humanity and beauty grow. It’s where I feel seen, understood and most beautiful and powerful. I hope in the work that @micahschnabel and I are doing right now, we can continue to exchange those seeds with you and one another so we can all go back to our separate lives and homes and scatter those seeds along the way for a better today and tomorrows. We’ll see you other, friends.

Spent the last day with humans I’m truly glad I get to share a beer, laugh, and a stage with. We danced. We raised hell. We raised A LOT of money for those who need it. We made a difference.

Now, The lights are out and the parties over.
Until next time, Dallas. Time to go home.

Here's a dump of recent goings on. Back on FOH duties for @frankturner and the @_sleepingsouls touring with @bfs_official and @americanhifiofficial . Salt of the earth people. Loved nerding out with @pdhmix every day and listening to him make AHF sound incredible!
Now for more fezzies and boat journeys

In a couple months, I head back out on the road with @frankturner & the @_sleepingsouls w/ @emilywolfemusic in the fall.

I spent a majority of my 20’s on a barricade watching this man scream his heart out at us and have been spending my 30’s becoming friends with him, and his crew. It’s safe to say, I’m Real excited to start this and see my friends again. (I also spent WAAAY too much money traveling to see this man in my 20’s, so I think this makes us even)

Tix on sale now
Come September, I am disappeared.
See you all soon
