Another successful opening day for the Ravens and the Jets! Events like this bring our community together and empower our next generation. I saw young people who I’ve known since they were babies now coaching and volunteering themselves. Amazing! Kudos to everyone who make it happen year after year. Have a great season!#bobbasanti2026 #richmondjets #richmondravens #richmondsockeyes #richmondbc

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Jail & Bail 2026 at Richmond Centre Mall! 🎉 Our amazing “arrestees” stepped up in good fun to raise bail and support Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tip line and community safety programs. Your participation, generosity, and enthusiasm helped make this event a success! A special shoutout to Richmond RCMP @bcrcmp and @z953fm for joining us at Jail & Bail 2026 and showing their support! And of course, a big thank you to @cfrichmondcentre for welcoming us and providing the perfect space for this important community event. To all of our participants, donors, volunteers, partners, and supporters—we couldn’t have done it without you! These individuals do not deserve to be locked up. Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers’ annual Jail and Bail fundraiser is back — and this year, we’re “locking up” some of the most community-minded individuals, all to support a safer Metro Vancouver. Join us for this fun event happening in: 📍Richmond – Friday, September 11, 11:00am to 1:00pm at Richmond Centre Mall Park Plaza And the cells aren’t full just yet! We’re still looking for community leaders ready to become our next “arrestees” and raise bail for a great cause. Are you — or someone you know — ready to join us? Want to help our volunteers post bail? A few snaps from my camera roll at yesterday’s Wigs For Kids BC 2nd Annual Golf Tournament - I was so busy I forgot to take more photos! It was a massive success again this year and a blast to say the least, and for a wonderful cause. A special shout out to @chris_dinnell who was floating around all day, (I didn’t even get a photo with him) for his dedication to this tournament. He has wanted to do this for as long as we have been together and it’s always an honor to watch him achieve his bucket list dreams both big and small. I’m glad we found the right people and cause to put all this energy in to. Our girl @jocelynneufeld has been his right hand all year on this project and she was missed but present in heart all day. We love you 💕 There were so many contributors to this event that made it beyond special. Thank you!

🏒 It’s Official! 🏒 One of my longtime dreams has always been to become an NHL goal announcer, and every great journey starts with a first step. Just like the players who work their way through the junior ranks on their path to the NHL, I’m excited to announce that I will be joining the Richmond Sockeyes as their new In-Game Announcer for the upcoming season beginning this September! A huge thank you to Doug Paterson, Steven Yip, and Will Kump for welcoming me to such a fantastic organization. I’m honoured to be part of a team with such a rich history and passionate fan base. The Richmond Sockeyes are Richmond’s Team, and I can’t wait to bring energy, excitement, and community spirit to every home game. Here’s to an incredible season and, hopefully, another championship banner for the city of Richmond! GO SOCKEYES GO! 🏒🔥 #RichmondSockeyes #JuniorHockey #GameAnnouncer #RichmondBC #HockeyLife

Big thank you to the Richmond Sockeyes for having me at their awards banquet this afternoon. Congratulations to the Sockeyes on an amazing year. I know it wasn’t the ending you guys wanted, but you all did absolutely fantastic. A huge congratulations as well to all of the 20-year-olds graduating out this season. Best of luck in your future endeavours, and I hope to see you around the rink next year. I had a great time interviewing players throughout the season and look forward to creating even more video content with the Sockeyes next year. There may even be an opportunity to help out on a bigger scale with an announcement coming in the next month or two… stay tuned 👀 #richmondbc #cityofrichmond #sockeyes #hockey

Triple Deca Ironman Triathalon, a race which stitches 30 continuous ironman triathalons without meaningful break. Swimming 114 km, cycling 5,400 km, and running 1,266 km. This is just one of many accomplishments of Shanda Hill @shandahillultra, a Canadian athlete from Vernon BC who I had the pleasure of meeting at the Kidsport Gala last night in Richmond, BC supporting this incredible charity to promote participation in sport for kids who need it most. Kidsport provides financial grants to help cover the cost of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under, from financially challenged dlfamiloes in Richmond, can play at least one season of sport in a calendar year. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to this great cause. #richmond #richmondstrong #kidsport #gala

Happy Birthday to the leader of our Sockeyes family, Doug Paterson! 🎂🎉 Thank you for all that you do and continue to do. The Sockeyes wouldn’t be where they are today without you! And what better way to celebrate than with Game 1 in the Fish Tank? Sockeyes fans, let’s help Doug make this one to remember! #richmondsockeyes #pjhl #sockeyebirthday

A little late posting this one but February 12 was a night worth revisiting. The Richmond Sockeyes delivered a dominant 8-2 win over the Langley Trappers, powered by a relentless third period and standout performances across the lineup. Dylan Nazareth led the way with a multi-point night, Teo Lin controlled the tempo with four points, and Nick Kovich added a pair as Richmond pulled away with five unanswered goals in the final frame. It was also a special night at Minoru Arena as the team celebrated Chinese New Year, bringing vibrant energy, culture, and community together alongside the action on the ice. Big plays. Big hits. Big celebration. One of those nights where hockey and community truly met. 🏒🐉 Were you at this game? What stood out most — the hockey or the celebration? 👇 #lunarnewyear #RichmondSockeyes #PJHL #JuniorHockey #HockeyPhotography
