it's been a month since we've returned to our positions at @fbiradio and it's been fun but we also realised it's been a year since we've started this show. soooooo, we thought '𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒓 𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆?'

honestly, we'll be doing a 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥 1 year celebration later on but for now, we're just gassed to announce that 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 will be joining us on tomorrow's episode ‼️🥹

keep an eye out on @flipside94.5 for more deets on who it is 🙂‍↕️ also massive shoutout to local event organisers !! its a tuff job + we wanted to give them their flowers !! they'll be tagged here, so everyone could go follow + show sum love to them 💘

real grateful for the last 12 months. I'm looking back and laughing hard cos I actually had real bad anxiety and imposter syndrome at the start of the year — like to the point of not even wanting DJ or do anything related to music (LMAO how dramatic but thats how bad it was HAHAH) — so shoutout to the fams who kept me going <3333

I’m still reeling from my experience @down.da.rabbithole on Saturday night. The fact I got to experience something so amazing as a last minute decision fills me with such joy. I’ve had faith in the local Sydney arts/music scene for some time now, and organisers @iluvkitamine and @peaboy3 reiterated the amazing hands that our cities creative art, music and event scene is in

This night served as an incredible arts show and an incredible DJ takeover, and I cannot stress enough how amazing both were. This post will be focusing on the music aspect however

Music wise, this was incredibly curated, with each DJ bringing their own flavour the flawlessly faded into one another

@iluvkitamine Started things off with some wonderfully atmospheric and ethereal dnb and jungle, a wonderful way to open things

@marcella.sunshine3 continued building the vibe with some high energy uk bass and garage that had the crowd suitably bopping and bouncing and grooving and jiving

@hekahor.c and @monstermachinex continued the vibe with some incredible dnb, breaks, harder techno and other assorted wonders that pumped the energy high. By this point I was reaching a critical mass as was the crowd, high speed shuffling and flailing limbs

@sillybitchesdie was then up, I believe at this point I went into some kind of bass based fit and had an out of body experience as I was taken through what I can only describe was a one hour gradually building bpm collection of all bass genres known to man, appropriately finishing with a speedcore remix of Limp Bizkit’s 2000 hit “break stuff.” Energy at critical mass, crowd hyped, my body flailing like Bez from the happy Mondays minus a set of maracas

@kyndridd then brought the energy to an appropriate warm down with some more dnb, beginning with some more atmospheric stuff which I most definitely needed with my adrenal glands running at septuple speed

Sadly I did not catch the last dj @ayyo.annieb however I am certain they would have been amazing also

Overall one of the best nights I’ve had in a very long time. Should more shows happen in the future any music and art lovers owe it to themselves to check the vibes

Big love y’all, namaste ✌️
