Having a daughter has been one of life’s greatest privileges. My heart has grown and healed in ways I never knew it could.

I hope everyone who wishes for this kind of joy gets to experience it 🧿🥹🤍

🍂🎃 SAVE THIS before visiting Downey’s Farm! 🎃🍂

We spent FIVE HOURS at Downey’s Pumpkinfest and somehow still only made it through about half of everything there is to do. So if you’re planning a visit, here are our TOP TIPS:

🎟️ BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE! This is a big one. Tickets are online only, dates can sell out, and if sold out you cannot purchase admission when you arrive.

⏰ GO EARLY. If you have flexibility, aim for the morning! You’ll have more time to explore and can get ahead of some of the bigger crowds and parking rush.

👶🏽 BRING THE STROLLER. Even if your toddler loves to walk, like mine, it’s a long day for little legs—and that stroller also comes in VERY handy for carrying all the goodies you inevitably grab from the bakery.

🗺️ GRAB A MAP WHEN YOU ARRIVE. There is SO much to do. Take a minute to map out your must-do attractions so you don’t realize at the end of the day that you missed half the farm… like us 😆

📸 DON’T SKIP THE PUMPKIN PHOTO OPS. The pumpkin displays make the cutest fall backdrop. Bring a tripod if you want a family shot—or ask one of the many friendly faces around to snap one for you!

🍎 BONUS MOM TIP: Give yourself MORE time than you think you’ll need. This is definitely not a quick pumpkin-patch stop!

SAVE this for your visit 🎃 + SEND it to someone you’re doing fall activities with! 🍂

Head to your local pumpkin patch! This season, I want to visit a few new ones. Over the years I’ve gone to Pingles and Laura’s Farm Stand—can’t get enough of the cider 🤭 the next stop awaits 🎃🎃🎃

Pumpkins, love, and a little unexpected rain. 🎃☔️🤎

Not exactly the weather we planned for, but definitely a pre-wedding session to remember!
