🎸 GOT A QUESTION ABOUT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY? THIS ONE'S FOR YOU! 🤘

This Thursday, 22nd October, we're welcoming Marianne Harris from @downforlifemusic to @punkotrradio for a takeover, and she's offered to answer YOUR questions! 👀

So if you're in a band, a musician, or a creative trying to figure out how to navigate the music industry, now's your chance to ask someone who's right in the thick of it.

Not sure when or how to approach management or booking agents? Wondering how to research the right people to work with?
Or just trying to work out what your next move should be?

Whatever's on your mind, send it our way! 🙌

📩 Drop us a DM or email your questions to punkotrradio@gmail.com and we'll put them to Marianne during the show.

No question is too silly, and you don't have to put your name to it if you'd rather stay anonymous. We want to make this useful for anyone trying to find their feet in the music world.

🔥 TONIGHT ON PUNK ON THE ROCKS! 🔥

We've got a very special takeover tonight as Marianne Harris from Down For Life Music joins us! 🤘🎸

We've known Marianne for a really long time, so we reckon there'll be some brilliant stories, plenty of laughs and probably a fair bit of nonsense in the studio tonight! 😂 We might even get some gossip out of her… 👀

Of course, we're also going to be picking her brains about what it's really like working in the music industry for as long as she has. We'll be chatting about the do's and don'ts for bands trying to get noticed by industry professionals, what you should (and definitely shouldn't!) be doing, and how to get yourselves in front of the right people.

And we're not letting her off without playing a whole load of cracking music! 🎶 We'll be spinning artists she's worked with, alongside some of her own personal favourites.

Expect tunes from Royals, Two Year Break, Crush Boy Waves, Cabin Boy, Jump Ship, Waterlines and plenty more!

Got a question you'd love us to put to Marianne? Get in touch while we're on air, or drop us a message beforehand. This is your chance to pick the brains of someone who really knows her stuff!

🚨 We'd like to issue an apology 🚨

💜 We apologise that your hosts InAir, minus John and Sarah, will be playing Reading Rising for the seventh time in a row. We guess its rude not to break tradition! 💜

🧡 On a serious note, it's a pleasure to play on the same stage as our boys in LASTELLE for the first time in many years 🧡

💚 If you could have one previous or current band play Reading Rising every year, which band would you choose? Let us know in the comments below 💚
