Introducing The Curator’s Find. This is where we connect the past to the present. Each feature will start with a historical garment, design detail, fabric, or piece of menswear history worth knowing. Then we’ll trace how that idea evolved and highlight a modern piece that carries the same spirit today. Some finds will be vintage. Some will be brand new. Some will be affordable, and some will be grails. The goal isn’t to tell you what to buy. It’s to help you discover something interesting. Today’s feature: The Fireman’s Jacket — a forgotten workwear design whose distinctive closures continue to influence modern menswear decades later. #Westwardworn #MenswearHistory #WorkwearStyle #HeritageMenswear #TheCuratorsFind
