couldn’t keep me gone 4 long!

I’m so incredibly blessed and honored to announce that I will be joining the @kfortv4 team as their newest producer! Ever since I left the newsroom last summer as an intern, I’ve been eager to get back. Oklahoma has always been my home, and I’m humbled to continue serving the state that has built me. Thank you so much to Natalie Hughes and the entire News 4 team for believing in me, and welcoming me back with open arms, I can’t wait to learn from the best in the state. OKC, you better watch out, I’ll be there soon!

Here’s to once again being the youngest in the room!👏

signing off

four years ago i stepped foot onto the beautiful campus of oklahoma state university, and if you told that small town 17-year-old girl all that would happen within the next four years she wouldn’t believe you. osu has given me the greatest gift… it’s taught me who i am. here i have gained the greatest friends and family i could ever ask for. i’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. i’ve grown into a woman who knows what she wants and is no longer afraid to go after it. although my time in stillwater has come to an end, i will always call this place home. if i could go back and change any of it, i wouldn’t even dare. here’s to all of the memories, to all of my friends and to a life beyond college days.

and even though stats was my least favorite class, i might as well use it:
- 4 years
- BA in Multimedia Journalism and American Sign Language
- 41 classes
- 4 homes
- 5 jobs
- around 65 shows produced
- around 350 daily o’s worked
- 1 musical interpreted
- 3 executive positions
- 6 roommates
- countless late nights
- too many friends to count

finally, i can officially say… ever you’ll find me loyal and true, to my alma mater, osu.
