Creativity, culture, and community!

Coyote Valley came together to bring our Pumpkin Fest float to life in celebration of Ukiah’s 150th anniversary! From making ribbon shirts, ribbon skirts, and handmade necklaces to sharing meals, laughter, and new experiences, this project has been about so much more than decorating a float.

It’s about bringing generations together, creating meaningful connections, learning from one another, and building memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️

We’re proud of the creativity, teamwork, and community spirit that went into this project. A big thank you to all the families, youth, and community members who shared their time, talents, and creativity to make this possible.

This is what community looks like. This is Coyote Valley!

Research says being with a donkey can help teenager’s moods. We know this feeling. Donkeys help adults too.

Become a Campovida Steward, it is good for your mood and sense of belonging.

Thank you @ktvu2 for sharing the benefits of a donkey.

🎃 That wasn’t just a Pumpkin Weigh Off, that was a movie!

For a second we thought 700+ pounds was the one and suddenly 906 pounds of absolute pumpkin rolled through the Weigh Off courtesy of Abraham Preciado! It was a perfect kickoff for Pumpkinfest as Alex Thomas Plaza was alive and thriving with families and friends filling the square to take it all in. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make it happen and all the participants. Let’s do it again tomorrow at 10am for the parade! 🎃 #VisitUkiah #UkiahRec #JustBeU #lovelocalmendo #visitcalifornia
