$an[6]ther academic semester is behind me. I’m still working at the coffee shop, and I have wonderful colleagues and customers, genuine people with warm hearts and souls. I’m still learning a lot and am not afraid to try new things and take the risk of stepping out of my comfort zone. I still cry when I see and hear what is happening in my homeland Ukraine. I’m still trying to donate from my earnings. I still help people, friends and my family and believe that the world can be changed if we are attentive to those around us and those we have in our lives. I’m still trying to build my life in Austria. I have concerts coming up in Vienna this April (next year). I am involved in a theater project, where I participate as a dancer, choreographer, and composer. I do everything I can and never admit to myself that I am tired. And there is still a lot here that I don’t understand, and I don’t know how it works. I’m still walking alone. and I only truly embraced Austria recently, when I realized how many people I’ve met here who have remained a part of my life to this day. And it matters not at all that we grew up in different circumstances and spoke different languages; the essence of a human being is the same for everyone. Thank you for your warmth, sincerity, and genuine care; for listening to my stories about friends and life in Ukraine, and for sharing your own stories in return.
